Thanks so much for the advice Angie. I should probably hunt my usual 26 then.

Unfortunately both of those jeans of mine are very, very old, about 5 years. The white BF ones are white J Brand straight jeans (model cigarette 914), a size and a half too big. The slouchy cream ones are 7 For All Mankind Roxanne's, also a size too big (photos 1 and 2 respectively). Roxanne cut is still around, but I haven't seen it in white

If I see anything that fits your wish I will let you know immediately, as I will be spending a lot of time on the internet for the next couple of months.

Thanks for the heads up! I was starting to "outgrow" my Jcrew cream jeans. I put a couple pairs on reserve to try in the morning at my local BR. Thanks Angie!

In the cream jeans, I found them to be TTS. I normally wear a 00 petite at BR. I thought they fit nicely in the waist and hips without being constricting.

Ordered. Thanks for the head's up!

I'm intrigued! Totally out of my comfort zone, but maybe...

Negative Angie. That day I posted about the colorblocked bag, I actually tried them along with the coated ones. Both were tol short

Hmmm, I really don't want straight legs. I'm always trying to find ones that are fitted in the thighs. Mine are CoH (Avedon low rise skinny leg) that I found at Last Chance with the tags still on, but they're probably at least a season or two old. They're plenty long, and pretty skinny, but I should have held out for a longer rise. I didn't want to wait for spring, since they are a winter item for me.

@Beth, thanks for the justification though!

Here are the ones I really wanted. Hubs laughed like the damned when he saw the price tag-- $305.

I wish I had more occasion to wear light colored jeans and pants. I think my one pair of white (Kut BF) jeans will have to do. Although I seriously thought about hitting the "buy" button on these! I like that you describe them as not being skin tight and the petite 30" inseam is perfect for me (I don't do too much scrunch). Dang sometimes I wish I lived in a city.

I am intrigued, although 8" does sound pretty high for me.

Angie, do you think the petite would work for me in the rise? I have been looking for 100% cotton white skinnies to no avail. I like how there are no frowning/sagging crotch lines in the stock photo.

Rae I was wondering the same thing. I just realized a lower rise for my long rise actually works better.

What a fantastic find, Angie. And hurrah for the 33 inseam!-)

Snagged 'em. And they have 35% off online today and tomorrow. Just sayin'.

These look like a great find. Too bad they are out of my size in the short already. Has anyone tried the white skinny ankle jean? They say they are 29" in length. Thanks.

Edit to add one more question: I see the petite in cream is available, does anyone know what the difference is between short and petite?

The lemming instinct is so strong, I was momentarily tempted to try them, even though the talls are gone, and I only wear my white jeans every so often.

s/he who hesitates is lost! Ordered. and on their way...thank you Angie!!!

Love those jeans! And that has prompted me to order some fab quality cream denim that has been nagging at me to buy for a while. You post gave me the necessary push I needed. I'm going to have a go at making some jeans for myself sometime in the new year.

Oooooohhhhh...great find Angie and I must admit I'm tempted.

I hope they work for those who ordered them.

Thanks, Tanya. It's hard to find the white BF jeans I want - full length - sans tears and distressing, so I will appreciate your extra eyes.

Claire, I love your white jeans. Wear the heck out of them.

Rae, the petite is worth a try. I don't mind having one pair of 8 inch front rise jeans when they are this fab. I won't tuck and belt though. So this might be my wild card for the season.

Lisa, the short is usually just shorter in length and not in rise.

Diane, I can't wait to see your homemade jeans.

Zap :(. Hope the talls come back into stock for long legged you. And Inge should stalk too.

lisa-- i tried the white with the zippers on, i found them to be a little skimpy on the fabric, so they were verging toward see thru.

Angie-Thanks. I'm going to give the petite a try since I adore the color.

KKards-Thanks for reporting back. I'll pass on the white for now. I am hoping for a lot of white jean choices come spring.

On hold at the local BR store. Will report back.

Brilliant. Posting from my phone while on the run. Am wearing the new cream jeans with chunky oversized Gap cabled pullover from last year with cream booties and cream coat. Winter white from head to tow. Jeans feel fabulous. Loving the scrunched length. Have been deprived of length all season. Bless the length.

Oh, would love to see your picture in this outfit, Angie! I could not control myself and hit the order button too.

Wow Angie, your outfit sounds fabulous! Would also love to see it.

I have them in my cart, and I'm trying to decide if I'll have enough opportunities to wear them before I pull the trigger. 35% off with an extra 10% off today and tomorrow has the total price down to $52.35...so very tempting!

Angie, you just answered *my* question - I hope they fit so I'll be able to wear them with my Gap cabled sweater from last year

I'm hard to fit in skinnies (a little on the curvy side-including my calves) but I decided to take the plunge with the great sale. So, super score, with sale and rewards and free shipping they were $13.00! I only ordered one size but since they have free returns I thought I could exchange if needed. Hoping they fit! I'm like a kid--once I order it I can't wait to get it.

Thanks for the great tip Angie and there was another post about the great sale.

Angie, have you measured the leg opening at the bottom? I prefer at least 14 inches, but the BR site doesn't say.

Speaking of perfect pants length, I'm excited to see that BR carries 0 Short jeans. Gap doesn't, and I haven't tried BR jeans recently. I'm used to getting things altered but I'm always happy to save the $10 and time.

You're sweet Mona and Tanya. I hope to show you soon.

Dottie, the leg opening on a size 25 is 12.5 inches (6.25 on the half).

I wore them again this afternoon. Love them.
