Great casual, lightweight jacket in speckled navy. The fit is fantastically modern, which means more fluid than fitted. It does not come in at the waist unless you zip it up, and even then, it’s quite roomy. Also available in Tall and Petite, and in a solid navy.

I just purchased the same jacket in navy. I had been tracking it in Poachit.com and it was around $50 through them. Don’t know if you could get this one as well, but it is worth a try. Also had the add’l 15% off. When it comes to prices, less IS more.

This jacket arrived on my doorstep earlier this week and I am thrilled about it. I love my leather jackets to bits, but also really wanted a lighter weight, non-moto style jacket for Spring and Summer. This fits the bill perfectly. The speckled tweed feels a little Chanel-esque (what I adore). The fabric is a great quality, it has nice drape without feeling heavy. The style is spunky and modern, and will look equally fab with jeans and trousers and skirts (will definitely try it over a frock too). As Angie pointed out the fit is fluid and roomy without looking sloppy. On trend, but it’s also a piece that will still look good in a few years time. I’m excited!

Unlike the online description which says this jacket is machine washable, the tags inside say DCO so I’m taking a star off for that. This jacket runs TTS — but I am not. I am smack in-between a P2 and a P4. The PS which is P4-6 was big all over on me as could be expected. The deal breaker was where the shoulder seam hit. The shoulders on the PXS hit in the right place, but the arms and armhole were too small and it was tight over the bust — again, very typical for a P2/PXS on my body. Unlike most people, I don’t get a fit on the Gap’s Academy blazer either. Otherwise, this is a very nice jacket.

This is a really nice spring weight jacket. The fit is generous in the regular sizes. I’m usually a medium (8) but the small fit well except for the sleeves being too long.

The fit is generous in petite sizes, too, so I suggest ordering your regular size and one size down. The weight is substantial but not heavy, it hangs perfectly and the blue & white tweed pattern is gorgeous and will look as spectacular with blue jeans as it will with white. Can you imagine this with a pink handbag? How cute will this be! I ordered a petite S and it was big all over — sleeve length, width, shoulders — so I ordered a petite XS and have my fingers crossed!

I ordered this jacket in a S (in GAP sizes I usually wear an XS but I wanted a more fluid fit.) Big Mistake! The S gave me the fluid fit but it was way too large across the shoulders – shoulder seams hung several inches off of my shoulders and the sleeves were way too long. In addition, I was once again reminded that this style of jacket doesn’t work very well on my rectangle and flat chested body type! Beautiful fabric and color.
