Melin Ankle Boot

This slip-on ankle boot is KILLER! It perfectly combines the very on-trend androgynous vibe with ladylike detailing. The patent crinkle polish adds great textural interest, and with a 1 3/4″ heel it’s very comfortable as well. This cutie is made in Italy and runs true to size, but it will probably not fit a wider foot. It comes in black and burgundy, the colour of the season. Beautiful!

I recently purchased these in black, and i’ve already worn them several times. They are just beautiful, and extremely comfortable on my very fussy feet!

I would love to know where I could purchase a similar pair, in a shiny maroon or shiny black but an economical high street price?

Very pretty and very well made boots. I ordered these in black but ended up returning these because they were not a perfect fit for my foot – the top cut across at an unflattering point on my ankle and the toe box was a little narrow for me while the instep/heel was a bit too roomy (I have odd feet though.) The heel is a great height and very stable. I think they are better suited to wearing with trousers than with skirts.

I loved these and tried them in two sizes, but they just weren’t comfy for me, despite the low heel. The sole felt hard, and the toe box was too shallow to allow for my insoles. Also, the top of the shaft rubbed against my ankle when I walked, and I needed 8-hour shoes. Other than that, really gorgeous, well-made, expensive-looking booties!

I bought these in black to wear with trousers and jeans and couldn’t be happier with them. I was surprised at how lightweight they are. I really like how they fit snugly around the ankle, yet aren’t tight, it’s as if they give me a little extra support there. The patent finish is gorgeous, but not too stiff, so the material felt very comfortable from the get-go. Heel height is perfect. They are on the roomy side (I got the 39, a 38.5 would have worked brilliantly too), but fit well after adding an insert. I love how sleek the toe box and the rest of the boot looks on my feet, while there’s plenty of wiggle room for my toes. I’ve worn them twice already and they feel and look fantastic.
