Biala ‘Keely’ Cap Toe Oxford

These shoes are gorgeous and super comfy, but beware that the tan color (the alternate to the teal shown here) is actually a light grey – if grey is what you’re after, I would give them 5/5 stars.

Based on this review, I tried these on and they are very comfy! I bought a pair (didn’t have the blue in my size) and I should have ’em in a week!! Can’t wait!!

I ordered these online from Nordies as they weren’t available in my size at my local store. When I first opened the package, I wasn’t sure I was going to keep them; like Sarah, above, the color of the graphite ones looked really gray, not taupe as they seemed to be pictured. Plus, even though the leather is very, very soft, it seemed like they were going to pinch my very bad bunion. I hated to send them back because they’re beautifully made, they have the perfect heel height, and they fit the foot without the bunion quite well. I put them aside for a few days, feeling pretty bummed out, but then I took them out of the box again a few days ago. First, I noticed that the shoelaces were brown, so I tried them on again, and found that they didn’t pinch as badly as I thought they might. I started holding them up against the colors in my wardrobe, as I was doing Angie’s SBB mini-capsule, and I was surprised and pleased to see that they were coming up as a much more mushroom-y color than gray. In fact, they seem to go with brown/yellow-based colors better than gray/black cooler colors, at least in my wardrobe. I put my shoe stretcher in the one that pinched, and now it feels fine, thanks to the soft leather. These are going to be workhorses in the fall. They’re comfortable, and they seem to go with everything. Thanks, Angie!

Wow!! These shoes are so comfy! I bought them in the graphite shade shortly after Angie recommended them, but I was on the fence about them. I wasn’t sure they would be comfortable enough in the toe box. Today, I wore them for the first time, and at only midway through the day, they feel fabulous on my feet. I love the color — they’re chameleon-like and seem to go with greys and browns equally well. Today, I have them on with trousers, and I’m looking forward to pairing them with skirts and dresses.

OK, my shoes came in and I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks. They are super comfy, and I have received many compliments on them. I LOVE them!!!
