I have really been enjoying Angie’s picks from Nordstrom (bought a tote and a pair of shoes on her recommendation two weeks ago), but this blazer was not fab at all. I’m a size 10 with a 36D chest, and the large was super tight across the shoulders and there was no space for the bust at all. Even the saleswoman complained to me that this garment runs so small when she saw me trying it on. If you really like it, order up a size and don’t bother if you are particularly busty!

I am usually a big fan of Angie’s picks but this one did not work for me. I had to size up one from my usual size (which is fine) but the blazer was far too itchy for my taste. The shape, is ideal for a pear shape and the 3 color choices (tan, blue and black) all work nicely with dark wash jeans. I wish the material was softer. If you find linen itchy like I do, I would pass. If linen doesn’t bother you, I certainly think it’s worth a look. The fit is quite pretty.

I had to chime back in and change my rating. I kept thinking about this blazer and tried it on again in the store. I still had to go up one from my usual size, but it is darn cute on a pear shape figure. And the material was not as scratchy as I thought the first time around. Perhaps my first try was a lemon? Also the SA mentioned they are selling quite well since the weather got warmer. I suspect I’m not the only one looking for an a/c office cover up that’s not a cardigan and this blazer will fit the bill nicely.

My blazers have arrived, in tan and in dark blue, and I LOVE them! Compared to the polyester linings we’re used to in jackets, the cotton does feel slightly scratchy at first, but when you wear these jackets it keeps you lovely and cool, and I want a summer jacket that I can leave on and not get sweaty in. So I vote yay for the cotton lining, even though it felt different at first. The pointed hem and the front is brilliant for slimming the tummy area and disguising a pouch, and the neckline is deep and slimming. The scrunched sleeves are brilliant for a dressy-casual of business-casual look, and as the the jacket is so fitted, it doesn’t crease as much as a looser fit linen article would. I am a 36D, and need to wear this open, rather than buttoned, which is my preferred look. If you live in a warmer climate and want a smart jacket that can take your warm weather outfits up a notch, I’d recommend these.

I love this blazer! I bought it just a couple weeks ago and have already worn it several times. Looks great with slacks (businessy) and to dress up jeans (blue and white denim work equally well). I also plan to try it over dresses. I got the blue one, and love the hue. It’s cut very sharply – I can understand that this might not work for a fuller busted figure. I also found that it runs on the small side and was a little skeptical about the Medium (my usual size), but after consulting with the sales rep I stuck with it rather than sizing up. And I’m happy with the choice – it just looks very fitted and sharp this way. A perfect summer jacket that fills a hole in my wardrobe and is super versatile.

Approximately the same size as uclamarie and had a similar experience. For me, even a 12 did not accommodate my shoulders and elbows. And I am really on the small side of 12 (i.e. I own many tops in that are mium). Was kind of cheap looking for the money, but might be versatile for some.
