These are great for wider feet. They feel a little flat, so popping in an insole for extra cushioning comfort and an orthotic for additional arch support is worthwhile. They are also available in brown at Nordstrom. So arty! The distressed leather is fabulous. I’m tempted to purchase the brown because I have a pair of the black and whites already.

I bought these in the black and cream before I knew they were YLF approved and really, really loved them. However, I ended up returning them because I just wasn’t comfortable with such statement making shoes. That doesn’t mean I don’t absolutely adore them–they just didn’t work for my style. I wear lots of dark clothing and the white was just too stark. They were soft and fabulous in terms of comfort, and looked even better.

Also, they are available in solid black, black patent, cream, burgundy and cream, and solid cognac, but you might have to do a bit of googling to find those colors because not all retailers carry all of them.

Go forth and purchase.

I rarely purchase shoes until they go on sale, but when I fell in love with these shoes after seeing them featured here, I made a rare exception. The black and white pair is cute, but I REALLY liked the look of the light brown and cream pair. The stitching, broguing detail, and distressed leather is very cute, and the colors look beautiful with the earthy fall palette that I’ve been wearing lately.
However, what sold me most of all on taking the shoes home ASAP was the comfort factor. Absolutely no breaking in was required for all-day wear, and my feet were instantly comfortable with the slightly shaped/padded sole. The soft leather doesn’t so much as hint at rubbing or causing hot spots and blisters. I think I’ve found my new all-day shoes, especially where a great deal of city walking is involved.

When I put these on in the morning, I don’t ever want to take them off. I purchased the black and white pair and couldn’t be happier. The white is actually more of a cream and have added distressing so I don’t find them stark at all. I have happily worn them with skinnies, bootcuts, and a dress and felt fab in each outfit that I have created for these shoes. They are a statement shoe, but not so much that I am at all hesitant to wear them. They are comfortable beyond comprehension. I was a bit wary of wearing a lace up shoe sans socks, but my feet have never been happier. The leather is so soft and buttery that my feet are happy all day long in these shoes. I can easily wear them 8-10 hours with no problems.
I would say that they run true to size or a tad on the bigger side. No need to size up. I normally wear a 7.5 or an 8 and the 7.5 in these are perfect for me.

I tried on the black and cream shown at Nordstroms and fell in shoe love. With insoles added my fussy feet have been happy though I’ve been on my feet for hours, even dog walking. The white on mine is not stark at all but more of a cream. These oxfords seem to instantly update each outfit I’ve tried with them so far.
If you are between sizes, go with the smaller size. These do not look big and bulky on and the leather is nice and soft. I may have to have the brown/gold pair too. They are beautiful.
