Halogen Dolman Sleeve Sweater

This is an easy to wear dolman sleeve top. The excess fabric under the arms is subtle, the sleeve hems taper and there isn’t much volume beyond the dolman sleeve itself. Great with skirts, jeans and trousers. A nice option for petites and no camisole required. Dress it up or down. All colours are fab. No itch either!

I have this in the black. The material is very soft and think enough to layer underneath cardigans and blazers without adding bulk. The neckline is a little more boatneck than crew neck in style, but the neckline is not too wide (ie no straps showing underneath the top). The sleeves are dolman style but you can easily wear a layer over this without a comfort issue.

I have this in the bronze green. I love this sweater it is so soft not itchy like some. I ordered it in black yesterday I liked it so much. It is thick enough to be warm but you can wear it under a jacket without allot of bulk which surprised me because of the dolman sleeves. Another great find from Angie.

I need to learn to never say never when it comes to Angie’s picks.
I thought that I hated the look of dolman sleeves and wasn’t impressed with the high neckline of this top on the model in the picture (at least, as far as translating to my own curvy, very busty frame.) I also feared, as Lisa mentioned, that the wide neckline would lead to a lot of exposed bra strap issues.

Instead, I was incredibly impressed when I saw this item in person & tried it on. The knit is INCREDIBLY soft. The sweater is a bit more voluminous on me than it is on the model (though perhaps my curves contribute to that) but it’s more fitted around the middle. The neckline doesn’t slide off my shoulders, and the front part of the neckline gently drapes (but not far down enough to bare cleavage or require a camisole underneath.) The knit is light but warm, and the bronze olive color reminds me of an earthier chartreuse.

I have this sweater in black and absolutely love how soft the knit is! I am blown away by Angie’s sweater recommendations this season. The dolman sleeves are just “dolman” enough and even though I had to go for the non-petite version it still fits and looks great. I love the boat neck. Thanks Angie!
