Michael Kors Cascade Sleeve Dress

Michael Kors is doing great things this season. It’s the elbow length draping sleeves that sold this dress style to me. It’s just beautiful. Swap out the self fabric belt and add just about any colour shoe – flat or heeled. The same dress is also available at Nordstrom in grey and is currently on sale. Machine washable!

I own it! Snatched it up in grey from Nordstrom when it went on sale. The sleeves add volume on top and are great for hourglass/pear shapes who want to balance out their hips.

I replaced the self-belt with a studded cream-colored belt and it looks great. The length is to the knee, and when belted, you can make the dress short enough to work with leggings. Wore it this weekend with a moto vest and leggings and yellow handbag and got loads of compliments!

Wow! This is one chic, cool, sexy dress. It does great things for my hourglass shape: it’s like magic in how flattering it is on. It is so comfortable, unfussy and easy to wear, too. I especially like it with the self fabric belt and without wearing any jewelry.

I got it on sale at Nordstrom in the grey, and those stone colored Franco Sarto ‘Tazer’ sandals also featured in the YLF store go beautifully with it. My family’s jaws dropped when I put this on. Thank you Angie for helping me hit a homerun with this outfit.

I’m sorry to say that this dress did not work on me at all. I am a slender (size 4) pear shape and bought this dress because I really liked the neckline and thought it would do a good job in balancing out my hips. The size small was shapeless and like a sack on me. I also thought the print was weird and not that pretty.

I have a curvy size 10 hourglass shape, and bought this dress on sale in green somewhat recently. At first I wasn’t sure whether the dress was figure-flattering since the pattern is a bit different than my norm, and I wasn’t crazy about the flimsy sack-like belt. However, once I swapped out the self-belt for a thicker black patent belt, I loved the dress. The drape neck is high enough that I’m not concerned about revealing too much when I bend over, but low enough to flatter my bustline. I also adore the detail of the ruched sleeves. The dress is so light and comfortable that I’ve been drawn towards wearing it frequently even though the dark green color lends itself more towards fall.
