Fidji “E174” Pump

This Portuguese pump launched me into orbit. I haven’t been this excited about a shoe for a long, long time. The studs on the ankle strap, hefty buckle and cylindrical stacked heel are utterly divine I can’t stand it. Extremely comfortable and beautifully made. An easy 8-hour shoe that combines grace with edge. They’re available in olive, cream and black so take your pick.

I tired these on at Nordstrom and would have bought them in a heartbeat if they had the size I needed. I just want to reiterate how gorgeous these shoes are — really, they look a million dollars on the foot. I will absolutely be getting these once my size becomes available.

I love the funky details, Euro style, and quirkiness of these shoes. My only complaint is that the toe is a bit strangely shaped. There is a small ridge on the top which makes them look a bit strange under wider jeans, but isn’t as noticeable on its own. I try to wear them with dresses and skirts, or skinnies, straight legs, and leggings anyway, though, because it’s a shame to hide that fabulous buckle with the studs! The material is incredibly soft and well made. I don’t anticipate any blisters and the low heel is very walkable. I’m saving my pennies for more Fidji shoes.

I got these in Creme Brulee! So far so good, although I’m still testing them at home because the heel is a bit too big (I couldn’t go down in size because the toe box would be too small). I have heel grips just in case, too, and so far I haven’t needed them.

I adore this shape and style and of course the awesome ankle strap. Also I really like how the toe turns up a bit, and there’s a ridge of sorts.

Normally I’d deliberate and vacillate for the longest time about such a shoe purchase. In this case, I tried them on and immediately felt comfy and happy, no doubts. Hee, I also think the following factors pushed me over: the cone shaped heel, the studs, and Angie’s approval.

This was my big spring purchase and I hope they pass more road testing before I can wear them out

(I realized I forgot to give these shoes a review months ago.)

I love the appearance and softness of these shoes – the creamy leather is beautiful, the studs are a fun touch to the mary jane style, and I love the small cutout details, too. The low heel is quite stable and feels even lower than it actually is.

However, I found these shoes surprisingly uncomfortable once they were on my feet. The leather was soft, but the vamp of the foot was a bit high and the top seam really dug into the top of my foot. How odd! I would have taken them home for sure were it not for this issue.

I bought these in black when they went on sale and love them. I have back problems and can not wear high heels and these are perfect. I love the studs and the round heel. I hope to buy the creme brulee in the spring.
