Santa-- I have a guess at who you are and can't wait to see if I am right. My gift came wrapped in cute snowman paper with a beautiful card. Inside was a green infinity scarf and a necklace that was inspired by my location! Completely exciting to get accessories, which I never shop for, in the mail.

What a wonderful Secret Santa I had! They sent me a gift that was "A little fun, a little funky, a little dressy" (the way I described myself in a post a while back). All the way from Germany (so that narrows down who it is, although I still don't know) I got super cool plaid tights (a little funky!), a lovely pearl pendant (a little dressy!), a container of Nivea Creme (I have never seen it in a round container), some tea bags, and what I think is a bookmark (all a little fun!).

And of course there's a funny story to go along with this (there's always a funny story!). A few days after my package arrived, another package arrived from Hong Kong. I thought, "Was there a mix-up?" or "Is my SS a world traveler?" or as DH said, "Is it a bomb?" (yeah, OK...) So I didn't open either package until today. I opened the package from Hong Kong first and exclaimed, "Oh, boot socks! These are nice! Wait a sec., they look just like the ones I ordered from Amazon - hey they ARE the ones I ordered! Lo and behold, the Hong Kong package was a pair of boot socks I ordered from Amazon, and were supposed to be on back-order until the 30th. I have never, in all my years of ordering from them or anywhere else, had a package arrive shipped from anywhere other than the U.S. What are the odds that it would arrive at the same time as we're doing SS and I would get packages from Germany and from Hong Kong in the same week?

Anywho, thank you Secret Santa from Germany (not Hong Kong)!

I opened my when I got home tonight and it is a beautiful gold cuff bracelet. It is beautiful and I love it. I will take a picture tomorrow.

This is one of my favorite threads of the year. I am enjoying all the beautiful and thoughtful gifts. Mine has still not arrived, which gives me a clue it may be from overseas... I'll post as soon as it arrives and continue to watch the fun unwrapping.

SO sorry to be late to the party!!! I opened my lovely gifts this morning and it was so exciting. My Secret Santa sent the best of Vancouver: chocolate! And a wonderful memoir of Diane von Furstenburg, which will be perfect for reading over the next few weeks when I have no work to do. And an adorable snowman ornament as part of the card. Thank you so much. I have a guess, but only because Jackie and Vancouver have become synonymous in my mind. Am I right??????

who does not love getting a bag from danier! and i didn't have have to cross the border. trust me, the leather care products elicited as big a squeal of delight as the double-sided clutch/make up bag.

Santa gave me these earrings in a lovely sea green color. I have a couple of perfect things to wear with them and will post a picture when I do. Thank you Santa. I have no idea who you are!

It's such fun reading these posts and seeing the lovely photos! I sat out the gift exchange this year because things are kind of nuts around here, but it's so much fun to see and read about everybody's lovely pressies!!
