Okay, here we go! I finally figured out how to work my camera timer and tripod; I've got work to do on lighting and flash and such, but I no longer have to crop out my mirror and always have my arm crooked to hold the camera. Huzzah!
This was pretty tough, I have to admit! I don't really do a lot of day-to-night using the same outfit; the collection of dresses and outfits I have started this summer are more appropriate for one occasion or the other, but not both. And my evening accessories are pitiful; I did buy a clutch for the occasion, and in truth I'm not sure if I will keep it. I do need a colorful clutch, though!
Anyway! Reese is a southern girl at heart, so for our day out shopping and having high tea, I needed a hat. I went with a simple look with my polka-dot dress, wearing strappy nude espadrilles and my wicker-and-patent clutch and black beads.

But there did have to be some color or it wouldn't be me, so I tied a teal scarf to the hat.

For the evening, I let the cleavage peek out from the sweetheart neckline for once, and added in my platform heels, with two fun bits of color in my fuschia clutch and chunky turquoise bracelet. The chandelier black beaded necklace ended up being crooked in the photo, alas, but when it was straight it looked great. I also put on some red lipstick, which is not me at all but was definitely warranted. (It made my face look way too flushed, but what can you do?)

And because Reese is a movie star, I added in one little red-carpet pose. She would never do this one, but I couldn't resist! :)

So how did I do?
