From the few pictures I could find on the forum, I can see you have an amazing figure and you’re rocking a cute pixie hair cut. I can tell you go for a funky look, with those awesome silver doc martens you got a while ago. . .

But I don’t see you doing that as much now that the weather has turned warmer. Am I right? I’d love to see you try to incorporate that punk rock feeling that led you to those boots into a summer outfit. I’m leaving this fairly open so that you can get creative with it.

This is a fantastic challenge planetamy!! And you're quite right, I do like to incorporate some funky and spunky details in my outfits. Somehow that seemed easier with my Winter clothes (and admittedly, the silver Docs did a lot of the work;-), probably because my Summer wardrobe is very limited at the moment.

But I'm going to have a think and will try to come up with something good;-)

This is a great challenge Planetamy. It got me thinking too - I have a funky edge to my classic style but it's much easier to do in summer and especially with boots. Hmm..... I might have to work on this myself. Inge I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Nice challenge. Inge lives in Western Europe so her Summers are VERY short. Like with me, her dominant season is Autumn and Winter which accounts for less Summer clothing and investment pieces in general. Okay Inge, let’s see some hot stuff!!

It took me a while to come up with something, so I'm posting two outfits to make up for that;-)

I quickly discovered that I definitely need some sort of layer to add at least a smidgen of (punk)rock/funk to my outfits. I hope you don't mind that; our Summers are usually not so warm, so these are examples of how to dress for my climate;-)
I tried to go for a bit of an androgynous look, hope you approve Amy!

Oh, I love them both! That's how you wear some kickin' Converse -- they add just the right defiant flair to the first outfit! Love what you did with complementary colors in both outfits -- the spot of red from the flower or the sneaks and that gray/green of the scarf or sandals at the other end of your body is fab. The scarf is so unexpected in the summer which is what makes it work. Love everything about these!

I'm eternally grateful for scarves, even if you are wearing only one layer, they can add some pizzazz to an outfit. And you're right about the Converse, they help a lot here!

By the way: you can't see it very well in the second picture, but the scarf actually has a thin white&blue stripe. That's what sold it to me;-)

It looks like red Converse are quickly becoming a staple in many of our wardrobes. Dani: you won't regret the purchase, I've found them very versatile, much more than I originally anticipated.

Vani: go get that vest, you will look super in it!

Maya: it's not a secret at all. The sandals are the Clarks Pancake Shake. I've never had the Brulees on my feet, but I have a hunch these have a similar comfort level.
