KILLER. And I *did* fall off my chair.

You look absolutely perfect, pretty, polished and very Sarah. LOVE the waistcoat over the sleeveless top! Genius darling! Simply divine! I need to cool down. You are 100% HOT.

Looks terrific! I am also stealing the sleeveless top + vest idea.

hahaha...Angie, your enthusiastic responses crack me up! I love it.

and I also love this look...great job!

Beautiful Sarah! I love the sleeveless top with the vest.
I hope you do get the tie and fedora because this look is killer on beautiful you.

Aw, thanks everyone!! I appreciate the kind comments. I'm really happy with how my outfit turned out for sure. I'm waiting on pins and needles to see what Hannah thinks!
I've been apprehensive about wearing trousers and jeans lately, but I have to say that I like how this looks. I'm definitely planning on experimenting more. I also like the voluminous top idea for me, too. I've had a hang up about voluminous anything. When I was a bit heavier I wore baggy clothing to conceal my extra pounds. Once I lost the bulk of the weight it was really difficult to first get rid of those, and now it's hard to wear anything even remotely similar. But I think the pendulum is swinging back somewhere in the middle. Thanks for the confidence booster!

I was thinking, while looking at these pictures, that a hat would be the perfect bookend to this look, but I wasn't sure if you were ready to take it to that level just yet! I'm partial to the gray one with the not-too-obvious bow.

And, just keep reminding yourself that volume isn't the same as baggy!

You look absolutely stunning! Great job with the challenge! I'm starting to get worried that I would lower the standard of what we've seen in the challenge with my limited out of the suitcase wardrobe.

Sarah, I am in complete and total amazement over your pictures!!! How do you manage to do it? The top! the waistcoat! the necklace! the trousers! the shoes!!! It is at the same time menswear-inspired AND feminine, and it is so very you! And you did volume that doesn't hide your pretty figure!

WOW! I am so glad I gave you this challenge It was such a treat to see your otufit! And yes, the cream top is totally fine It is more than fine, it is fabulous, all together!

Of course Sarah manages to look utterly feminine in menswear! Brava! I am taking notes indeed.

(Hanna - I didn't see my name on the list!)

tara there are two pools! there were so many interested participants we thuoght it best to break it up. so you are in the other one, and i have already posted my challenge for you in this thread: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....?replies=3

good luck!

Sarah, wow - I love the way you put this together, and like Hannah mentioned, I like how you wear volume in a way that still shows us your shape. The open but fitted vest really helps. You look amazing in a dress, but you can definitely rock pants, too.

You have the most beautiful doe eyes!

Sarah,

Just so you know - I bookmarked your picture in this outfit and went to look at it again today - I love it so much! The little touches - the necklace and the shoes - really take it to the new level of perfect. Hmmm ... I feel I need a necklace like yours

Love Sarah!! What impresses me most is how youve adapted the layered look of menswear for hot weather. Love love love the vest with the blousy top!!!

Another one knocked out of the park! Love the sleeveless cream with the vest -- and the shoes work very well too! (Are they spectators?) I think you captured the essence of the challenge perfectly, and you look fab to boot.

I love this outfit on you, Sarah. In fact, you have inspired me to bring my vest back out (I had put it away because it was too tight to button) and try wearing it open over the grey banded top I got at NHYS.
