Hmm. That sounds fun.

Maybe just a general forum challenge instead of a chain? (Since the chain's tend to take awhile.) Either way it'd definitely be fun!

I'm not in the desert part of Texas, but our humidity is usually 40-60% in the summer I think. This one has been more humid than usual, but I'll happily take humid overcast & extra rain vs sunny dry heat and drought!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this - I listened to the music while slowly clicking through E's images and wow, what a treat. I'm not even sure what to say - it was like watching a mini art performance and made me feel very happy. LOVED the outfits.

Funny thing is that today I am painting with watercolors (something I haven't done in a while). I do very abstract, flowing landcapes mostly.

Texstyle: French music would be fab to listen to while painting watercolors. Impression in music as well as art! I love Debussy, but also Faure, Poulenc, Messaine, Saint-Saens.

Would love to see your paintings!

BTW: There are a cycle of poems by Verlaine called "Poemes de Venise" that actually describe some Watteau paintings that were displayed (in the 19th c) in the private gallery of a Venitian noblewoman (can't remember her name). My favorite of these is Mandoline --- Faure's version (Debussy also has one). People could look at pictures on Instagram, a descriptive poem was their memory, or their way of sharing a vision with others who had never seen the artwork themselves.

Debussy is one of my favorite composers. When I saw E's outfit, I knew she had nailed it. Beautful!
