I've been thinking of making myself a pencil skirt and there's a great sale on wool suiting - it'd only cost me $4 (plus shipping) to make a nice wool skirt - but is it too dressy for daily wear for a stay at home mom, or would a fun color like cobalt or fuschia make it work? (the fuschia is lambswool flannel suiting and the cobalt is boucle suiting, but it's dry clean only so I'd be more likely to do the fuschia).
