WiW: 11.05 - It's All In the Numbers!

I bought this dress solely for the pattern and everyone at work loved it! It has a very summery neckline so I had to hide it a bit with my necklace, but I think I really love the results!

One of my staff docs wondered if he could make a suit out of that material! Would be exciting!

So, so fun... and stunning on you as well. No wonder you got compliments. I love that you wear patterns that are playful and have a sense of humor but still are mature and office appropriate. You are inspiring me to take more liberties with prints. You have some great accessories.

As someone who did books for years at the pub I worked, I just love this print! I'm a sucker for whimsical prints that speak to me (I've been wanting just the right pi shirt for years). How fun!

Gorgeous! Love the colors, if i had to make a sugestion, i would say, go for ligther boots, those are too dark when compared with all the other colors

@ Archer - I work in psychiatry, so there's a huge range of what people wear. The psychotherapists are somewhat more drab (in terms of projection and what not), although they are still very stylish. A lot of the inpatient docs like to be comfortable. The men typically wear suits (with jacket) but usually no tie, unless it's a funky tie with a funky shirt and a grey suit. There are definitely some brighter dressers than others, and the junior staff (us) range from pencil skirts, pussy bow tops and blazers to wearing gear (hiking pants, old sweater, backpack).

The older staff tell us that it's important to dress up (but some of us are missing the memo, I feel, or think that what they wear is okay) - as one of my favourite docs says: "You should be able to tell the difference between the patient and the physician."

@ Rute - Drat; you're totally right, I should have worn my other boots! I will next time I bring this dress out to play!

@ Mo - We all need pi shirts! I saw a pi skirt the other day on Modcloth! I just want to eat actual pie. Mmmmmmm. PIE.

@ Helen - I rarely buy from them anymore unless they are having a mega sale. The duty fees are just killing me. I think the duty office targets the Modcloth boxes because they are so obvious looking.

I LOVE this. It's so playful and that blue misty sweater is heavenly. I love the belt over the sweater at the waist. I need to play around with my skirt lengths to mimic this. I can't do it exactly but I can try -- inspiration!
