Which shoe do you like best?

After writing a blog post (http://absolutelyapple.blogspo.....-feet.html) ranting about my struggle to find affordable size 12 shoes, DSW informed me that they sell size 12s online and offered me a gift card so I can buy myself a pair of shoes. How cool is that?

I need your help in deciding which pair to get! I've narrowed it down to three:

1) In red:

3) In blue:

I like all three pairs but I'm really concerned about comfort. Which pair do you like best and which do you think would be most comfortable? Thanks!

Mariana, I just read your post and was checking out DSW for new sandals myself!

I LOVE the first ones! I think that cut-out leather is going to be big this spring, I have already seen them all over. I think they would look great on you!

I like the last one - the blue one, the best. The most comfortable is hard to say but I'm wondering if it going to be the first just bc there are no painful spots for it to cut around the toe. Then again, that might not be an issue at all. Style-wise, the last one is my favorite. You would look so pretty in that beautiful blue!

Off topic, but how on earth did someone from DSW find your blog? I am so ignorant about blogging!

I have always found Blowfish very comfy, so those are my vote for comfort. But I like the look of the cut out flats the best, though personally, I adore them in turquoise more than red.

Also, it's pretty awesome that DSW did that! I wish someone would take note of my ranting and raving...

agrace, I have no idea how someone from DSW found my blog! The Marketing VP sent me a message today. It's pretty interesting how word gets around!

My shoes have to be comfy or else I won't wear them. I am thinking that the cut out flats might be the most comfy... and they do come in wide. I don't usually need wide shoes, but it might be worth a shot. The turquoise is pretty too... hmm.

I don't have any red shoes, but blue shoes with jeans sounds fun too. I get flustered when I have free money to spend.

Everyone needs red shoes! I like the second pair best, I think.

Oh, I didn't notice they came in wide. Wow, that's tempting. I *really* like them in turquoise. Red shoes are a classic and you'll always be able to find them, but turquoise is very current!

I think a lot of the big fashion related retailers do blind searches for their company name in the blog feeders, to keep tabs on what people are saying about them.

I think it's incredible that they followed through on your post though, shows that they really care about what the consumers think... no one blogger is too small, you know?

I think I want the first pair, the cut-out flats. I just need to decide if I want the red or turquoise. Maya makes some good points about the turquoise, but I'm not sure if it's *me*... although I really like it.

WOW!! I'm guessing DSW has secured a life-long customer if the shoes prove comfortable enough!! That's the coolest thing I've heard all day. Go you!

Call me boring, but I vote for red. You have a hard enough time finding comfortable, stylish shoes; why not make sure they're as versatile as possible? I'm guessing you'll get a lot more milage out of red.
Or maybe I'm just too in touch with my inner dullard.

Another vote for #1, the cut-outs. Love the slightly pointed toe.

The color might depend on the colors in your wardrobe -- i.e. I wear a lot of blue so I would go with the red. But if you have a fab yellow dress in mind, or white jeans and a yellow or coral top, the turquoise would be divine!

Does anyone know if BCBG flats are comfy?

I really like the blue ones with the buckle, the blue is very current and so is the buckle.

I like the first pair, but they remind me of jellies when I was a kid and look like they might cause blisters. I could be wrong though. I think I like the third pair the best. I am partial to blue, but I do think every woman needs a red shoe (I'm trying to find one for myself at the moment), but I love the buckle on the shoe. The second pair might be the most comfy, but I don't think they're as cute as the third pair.

I say go for the third pair! lol They'd go well with both jeans and a dress (and you're going to make the move to dresses if I have to buy the dresses for you! :P)

Well...out of those I like #1 best, but by far prefer it in turquoise to red. If you're really wanting red I think #2 looks better in red than #1 does.

That's awesome about your blog and DSW, Marianna! That's cool that they have some cool flats in your size. They are all give different vibes. I think #2 looks the most comfortable. #3 looks more modern and streamlined. Love the cutouts in #1, and I like them in turquoise.

Well... I went against the grain and ordered the first ones in red. Asthetically I do prefer the second ones, but I feel that they're cut too low, and my foot fat will spill over in an unattractive way. I think the first ones will look best on my feet. I got the red because I feel it's more my style. We'll see how they feel/look when the arrive... I can always exchange them.

(And um, I have a pair of Fidjis on hold at Nordstrom for me... going to try them on tomorrow... yay for tax refunds... heh).

I am sooo jealous of the Fidjis Marianna. I just know they're going to sell out in my size soon, and no stores within 100 miles carry them

Maya, I don't even know if the largest Fidji size will fit me, but I'm going to try them on! The Michigan Ave store has a ton of styles in size 43 so I'm going to have a field day tomorrow. I'll be sad if 43 is too small.

Ha, that's so funny Marianna: I made Angie try on both of those shoes for me a while ago. She reported back that the yellow ones were indeed not so comfy, but the flat sandals were very comfortable.

I really shouldn't be spending the money, but I almost feel like a tax return is free money. Is that highly irrational and stupid?
