I bought the Born Lovely flats in yellow from the YLF store. Love, love, love them. I was in Nordstrom yesterday, and I tried them on in pink. I brought them home. They're a cherry reddish pink:

I am drawn to colorful shoes. It's a sickness. Would I be better served to get them in black (I don't have a pair of black flats) or pewter, or should I just enjoy my lovely pink shoes and get on with my life? :o)

They have then in pewter? That is my favorite color of the moment, cause it goes with everything! But pink, hmmm I dont' know, can't you have all of them?

Carole, I would seriously get them in every color if I could. Love these shoes! The pewter color is actually "silver metallic," but it's a distressed looking silver...looks more like pewter to me. They brought out a pair for me to see yesterday...just not in my size. Very pretty.

Get the ones that make you smile. You'll find ways to wear them just to look down and see them on your feet.
I don't wear my black flats much. They seem heavy for spring/summer and I'd rather wear boots in the fall/winter than my black flats.

I don't wear my black flats much either, and when I do, they appear heavy. The pewter is pretty too. A colorful pair (or 2!) and a neutral, pewter pair might be very versatile in your wardrobe.

I agree with the others Boof, if pink shoes give you the fuzzies they deserve a place in your wardrobe. When you fall in love with a pair of black flats you could maybe bring them home as well.

I love pinkesh red, and I love pewter. I'd have to get both. How much support do they give your feet? I need shoes that do not bend to much when you walk. I have arthritis in the ball of my feet so I need to have shoes that keep that part from bending to much. I long for the old days of wearing moccasons with nothing but a piece of leather for the sole.

San, you should go to Nordstrom and try them on. They are very cushioned and supportive inside for flats. They are fairly soft and flexible, so I don't know how they'd work for you. Definitely try them in person if you can.

I keep opening the box to peek at them, and I grin like an idiot every time I look at them. Julie, they absolutely give me the "fuzzies!" Guess they are keepers. :o)

I have fuchsia flats and although I don't wear them that often, they make me extremely happy when I do! It's a fun pop of color!

Just for fun, can you think of five outfits you might wear them with? The last thing I want to do is be practical here, but pewter is a great color too. I have some bronze flats and I wear them constantly in summer. I think subdued metallics are actually more versatile than black.

It also depends on how many shoes you have or can afford. If you only have a few pairs of flats and they have to be workhorses, then I'd choose pewter. If you can afford a pretty good selection, then go pink!

Such a fun pair! It is hard to find comfortable, practical shoes in fun colors so I vote keep!
