Turned out fabulous, Svetlana! I love the darker color, and the razored texture looks super (even if it is a bit less dramatic than you were hoping for). I feel you on being limited by the hair texture, I have some issues there as well. Regardless of texture I think this is still quite in line with what you were thinking! Are you thinking of growing the top/front out so it looks more like the Anne Hathaway photo?

Thank you all so much for liking my new 'do. It is quite a subtle difference from what I had before but I am pleased with how it turned out (given the reality of my hair).
Aida, I asked her to keep the length on the top and front so I want to grow it a bit. The problem is that with my hair when it goes longer it goes limp and just falls down: I need to find the happy medium when it is long enough for the style but not long enough to become limp. Ah, the reality of my hair!
