Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

what do you think of this top?

would this qualify as a variation of the feminine blouse wardrobe staple?
would this fit better with skirts and/or pants?

i am small on top, and i'm always on the lookout for flattering, high neckline tops...

thanks :-)

It's so pretty. I think you would find this very useful in your wardrobe, especially since it is white. Hopefully you are not afraid of stark white like I am. I need an off white.

thanks san...i'm wondering how versatile it will be, due to the length. i am short waisted, and am hoping maybe i can wear it with pants as well as skirts.

Oh I guess you will have to try it on to see where it hits you at the hips. I do believe that Angie says that tops are generally either a skirt or a pants top. The pants top should hit about 3" above the crotch and the skirt top should hit at hip. I think it is an 'either or' situation. Ofcourse with layering you can change the place where the layered tops hit you, such as adding a longer sweater over a top that is shorter will now make it appropriate for pants.

Cyan, that's a pretty top--I like it in grey and blue too. The waist is banded though, so I'm wondering if it's more flexible? By that, I mean, maybe you can tug it up a little bit to wear with skirts, and let it sit lower to wear with pants.

Maybe you can measure one of your other tops to see how the 25" length of this top compares. I clicked on read reviews and got the details.
It's a cute top.
