What do you see when you look at this top?

Rorschach test time! What do you see in the print of this top?

It came today. It fits, it flatters, it's super soft, it would be great for my climate, it adds a little edge to my dance capsule...and it is going back. I want it, but I can't get over what I see! I asked my DH and he saw the same thing. I won't say what until I hear what you all think!

I have this same t shirt and you're freaking me out. I thought it looked like a moth but now I'm worried you're bringing the Georgia O'Keeffe flowers into it.

Online I saw flames. But IRL...I see a spider! Even worse..the kind that starts with a "t". My DH said "I see that thing you are so afraid of I won't even say it."

But yes, I also see the Georgia-esque reference, very clearly!

Between the two, no way I can wear it! I wish it was just flames because in all other ways I like it. Oh well, back it goes. I did get two other things with that order that I'm keeping, so that is better than my usual average.

I'm just wondering with the pics on the website how you did not see whatever it is you see before you ordered it. I see many things in it - more or less everything except flowers.

I don't know Echo, I just didn't! I thought it was fire. Some things just look different IRL than they do in pictures. Or it's a matter of once you see something you can't un-see it.

We had to order a new cabinet door because, to my eye, there was a a big gnome face in the wood grain looking out at me. I couldn't unsee it.

In all seriousness, I suggest you keep it. There's nothing really there, it's an abstract print, and everybody sees different things, as you saw in the responses. It's a really cool, interesting print and you're not going to be watching it when you wear it anyway. Just don't think about the t... too much.
But well, if you have a serious fear of that shirt, then send it back.

Peri, I had to look hard at first before seeing first a bug, then a demon, but that was just in the thumbnail. Opening up the picture, I now see all sorts of things - none particularly pleasant! I can see why you are returning it. Shame, because it's a nice top otherwise.
