That is beautiful, I love the shelving and cabinet doors. Very classy and special.

Simply breathtakingly stunning.

So gorgeous we need a party in there! I love it and your scarves look like artwork. Your shoes, handbags and jewelry, everything, look very happy. ^^

This is fabulously done. I, too, turned a "junk room/small bedroom" into a large walk-in closet. I need to get serious about reorganizing and your lovely closet gives me a boost.

Super design and decor!

Major congrats on a super-cool space! So envious! My not-really-funny story in designing a shared master closet involves quite 'specific' instructions about my 6' 2.5" DH requiring tall double rods for hanging garments, and my personal 5' 1/2" non-leggy self requiring specific, and 'much' lower, racks, shelves and those boxes things. Contractor was paid on time and yet ....

For the last 29 years (!) I've lived with double closet racks suitable for a 6' 2.5" guy. I do extreme stretching every day. I'll die at least 5' 2".

Mary, you know nothing gets my heart beating faster than closet photos! Well done, missy.

If the light is good enough in the morning, I'll post my own, though it doesn't hold a candle.

Mouth gaping. The shoes with jewelry display doors are out of my dreams! My closet looks like one wall of yours - in my bedroom and Ikea style !

Exquisite, Mary Lou! Exquisite! A tv is so important, btw, when you're fooling around in your closet. It's on my list. Currently I muddle thru with a borrowed portable DVD and my iPad. So sad! Lol!

WOW!
Worth waiting for for sure:)

What an absolutely beautiful space and so well arranged. So, so worth the wait!

Beautiful! It looks neat and cozy. Very well designed.

It is amazing and truly worthy of you. Enjoy.

Gorgeous Woman Cave. Love it all. It will be so much fun to get dressed it there. LH is indeed lovely.

I am so thrilled for you - this is magnificent and so well deserved!

Gorgeous or what???? WOW!!

I loved looking at your scarf cupboard. That riot of gorgeous colour!!! And also, the bags, oh and the skirts....I could go on. What a beautifully designed and thought out room. And everything has space to breathe.

ENJOY!!

I recently helped a friend install an art exhibit in a gorgeous historic mansion just outside of DC, and it had a room very much like this. It's the "bride's room," used for dressing of the bridal party when weddings are held at the mansion. I think your dressing room is absolutely fabulous, and you deserve it! That rug is beautiful too.

I really like my closet even though it is nowhere near this size. Since we had custom shelves and racks installed a couple of years ago, it's so much easier to use. It's a narrow enough space that it's hard to photograph, even with a wide angle, but I keep trying. My husband even likes that I have a wall of shoes in it!

Wow - that's fantastic! I actually like my closet but like Janet, it's hard to photograph. It's very small though and if I had the space, I would love something like this.

Can I just come live in your closet?

WOW! Talk about aspirational! I love love love what you've done!

So I guess now we call you Marie Kayntoinette?

Fab!!!! Truly, I can't find enough words to express how wonderful your closet is. Life works in mysterious ways...you meet the man of your dreams as you're remodeling your home, get married and move. Sounds lovely and glad you're happy!

This is truly beautiful. I am jealous.

I am so happy for you. It's truly wonderful and I love the space you have for shoes, jewelry and the lovely display of your colorful scarves!

Penny, I love yours too! So pretty all of those purses on display!

Amazing! Good for you!

Good for you! I don't have the closet you have, but the one I have in our 'new' house (since 2014) is 4 X as big as the ones I've had in our first two (older) homes and a thing of joy!

So amazing. Enjoy!

DANG!!!

I just showed these pics to my husband. He was impressed. And I am taking mental notes for time we will have extra room

Beautiful Room Ms. Mary!

Oh Mary, it's fabulous! Don't be embarrassed. Your darling husband wanted it to be amazing for you, and it is!

Mary! Well done and gorgeous. The shoe closet...the purpose built shelves, the scarves; how fun is it to get dressed? You really knew your priorities as you put that together. Where beauty and function intersect is happiness. Enjoy your woman cave!
