Tips for Hat Hair

I love wearing hats and since you're supposed to remove them indoors (see Angie's comments on an earlier thread on this); I don't wear them as often because I end up with a bad case of hat hair each time. My hair gets very flattened by a hat, especially in front (I have bangs). Does anyone have tips for how to quickly address hat hair and still wear hats more frequently?
