Ouch! How did the boys cargo shorts get on the list though?

I was wondering that too Chris. Amazon frequently seems to file things in the wrong category.

I have to say I'm amused and vaguely heartened that a pair of patent shoes...FOR MEN...somehow make the top of the list.

Shearling lined Crocs? I don't even know what to say. :-|

I think it shows that Americans always want comfort first. Go out the door and you see that. The thing is you really can have your cake and eat it too - comfort and not look sloppy! It's true!

I'm honestly surprised that people are STILL buying Crocs... when will it end? Wasn't the company going out of business?

Not surprised at the Uggs... as ugly as they are, people still love them, and it's prime season for Ugg shopping. I worked at a shoe store last year (the #1 Ugg retailer in the Chicago area) and we couldn't keep enough Uggs in stock. We had endless special orders because they sold out so fast. It's mind boggling.

I thought the same thing Marianna! I hate the thought of anyone losing their jobs, but if I could guarantee that everyone who worked for Crocs a new position, I would be THRILLED to see it go out of business.

While I can't condone any form of Ugg-wearing (at least not the bedroom slipper types), I find it understandable even if I don't agree with it. They have a practical purpose that Crocs do not. I can't accept any form of Croc-wearing for any reason. Even if you are on your feet all day, you can still get yourself a pair of Dansko clogs instead. Still not the most stylish statement in the world, but far from horrendously ugly Crocs...which don't even look professional.

Wow, I didn't think Crocs and Uggs were so popular. Although when I think about it, that's a lot of what I see people wearing, along with running shoes and flip flops.

I do think Crocs have a use. They're great for gardening and the beach. I actually have a pair of Croc Cleo sandals I wear when I think my feet will get wet (pool, beach, gardening).

Good thinking Cathy. I hadn't considered them for those purposes. But that would put them in the category of gear, I think.

Oh no only are styles bad but the COLOURS are hideous. I can't even bring myself to put crocs on my two year old daughter when we visit the beach. They look too much like lego pieces IMO.

Oh dear crocs and uggs in the top 5. However i do admit to owning something similar to both!
Hot pink no name crocs for car washing and in the shower when camping
Aubergine coloured ugg style boots to wear in the house and i have to admit they keep my feet toasty, have been tempted to wear them out because my feet are so warm but i promise i will resist! x
