Yes, anything creamy will probably be too "yellow" looking right now, although eventually you might find ivories and soft whites that work -- I have found a few of my tops do work fine. Anything with a black and white print or white in a predominantly blue or purple print will be fantastic. I know you mostly choose solids, as do I, but for scarves and such and the occasional top or dress.
I found that I stopped wearing most (but not all) of my taupe shoes. Now looking for silver, pewter, and grey as book-enders, or white. Snakeskin could be great also.
