Q&A about individual items, ensembles, and wardrobe

The Great Coat Debate is Over

I finally settled on a coat. I don't have photos of it on yet, but here it is:

I got the ivory texture. It's a petite, so the sleeves are not terribly long, and it doesn't have a belt but it does have a defined waist. I think that is better for me, since I can wear it open when I want. It also fits with a little jacket underneath. This one was much warmer than the other one that I was considering, so it's the clear winner. I may switch the buttons out for brown, but I haven't decided yet.

I actually almost picked this up yesterday but I found another coat I love more (but can't afford at the moment). I think the brown buttons would look great, giving it a whole new look.

Khris, it looks warm and has nice lines. Brown buttons would really add a special touch. I'm looking forward to a picture of you modelling it.

That's a flop proof shape. Great! Michelle, for you too.

I really like the idea of swapping out the buttons.

Ooh, this coat is really chic! I love the shape and the collar. Changing out the buttons is a really fun way to personalize the coat and make it "yours." Can't wait to see it on you!
