Tarzy, how do you like your Naturalizer slingback pumps?

I remember you mentioned that you bought these: http://www.naturalizer.com/Sho.....=EC0216884

Did you end up keeping them? How comfortable and stable are they?
I'm scouring shoe websites for sturdy heels that will go well with a cornflower blue bridesmaid's dress AND won't break my budget. I'm looking for a stable, chunky heel because the wedding is outdoors and I may be walking on gravel some of the time.

So far I haven't had much luck finding anything else except for a cream pair of American Eagle round-toed pumps that I saw at Payless Shoes, and I think they are probably too informal for wedding wear.

I love those Naturalizers. I find them to be pretty comfortable - I don't have any problems with slingbacks, although I know that a lot of women here do. I need a really low vamp to elongate my leg line, and I think these look very nice on. I actually bought that color you linked to as well, because I like them on me so much, and I keep reading that nude shoes elongate the leg.

I also like the others you posted. Do you really think they're too casual for a wedding? I guess the wooden wedge might make them more casual, but they're very pretty!

Thanks for responding so quickly!

OK, that's great to know that the Naturalizers are so comfortable. I'm attracted to them because of the low vamp and the lower, sturdier heel compared to a lot of the strappy stilettos I've been coming across. I'm also less likely to scratch the heel up since it's wood instead of covered leather or silk.

The AE wedges are pretty and were very comfortable, and if I were a wedding guest I wouldn't hesitate to wear them. There's also the cheap price as an incentive. With a shiny satin dress, though, I'm a little worried that wood wedges would look too informal, whereas the Stonehenge color of the Naturalizer slingbacks might make my pasty white legs look long and lean.

I'm thinking about ordering the Naturalizers just to see if they work, and if not, the AE wedges can always be a backup.

(Anyone else have an opinion to share?)
