SYC Loose End - I need your discerning eye!!

After too much procrastination and indecision, I need your help, your input, to decide on a white watch and be done!! Actually I need to get the others returned and off my credit card ;-\ a pre-SYC loose end to tie up. . .

What do you think? From any distance, they all look just like a white watch, but I hope to have this baby around for many a year and wonder if you all can see something I am missing. Or do you have experience and thoughts I could benefit from? They are all ceramic and Fossil makes Michael Kors - just in case it matters. . .

All 3 are nice. I like the Fossil and smaller sized MK the best. The third one looks a little to large on the wrist to me. For longevity I vote keep the smaller MK (pic 3 and 4). The Fossil is close, but the three dials are sideways right? If so, you may grow tired of this look. The MK watch the 3 dials are in a straight line, a look that wouldn't wear on my eye over time.

I like #1 I am a fan of big watches, but 3&5 look too big..massive really on your small wrist:)

I vote #1 or a smaller MK:)

It's actually really hard to tell - they all look pretty good and are so similar! I would have to go for 1 because they other ones look a little overwhelming on your teeny wrists. Can you put them all on your wrist & take a picture???? Then we can see what the size differences are!!

i like the fossil the best because of the bezel detail and the general size. while i like oversized, the last mk is a bit overwhelming on your wrist.

of course, go with your gut!

While I love big watches, the last one seems too big unless you really want it to make a statement. Either 1 or 2 look great.

Of the three you've posted, I like the Fossil one. I prefer the hours marked with 12 little lines. It's less busy. It might only be me, but I don't like the look of that number 4 on the MK watches.

I like #1 the best, it seems to fit with the size of your wrists the best. I love white watches!

You ladies are very helpful. I can definitely see how the largest watch (pics 5-6) is too big.

After that, there are still split preferences for the Fossil or the 'smaller' of the Marc Jacobs.

In the morning, I'll see if it works out to take a pic with both of them on for size comparison. (now that picture loading is SO simplified

could you also take a profile view of the watches on your wrist? i'll be interested to see how far the face extends from your wrist...another dimension to think about, especially if you're a hand waver like me.

Personally I love having the date on my watch, so I would go with #2

Given your small wrists, have you thought of trying a white watch with a rectangular face? I have similarly small wrists and find chunky rectangular shapes easier to wear. I think Angie picked a rectangular-faced white watch in her NAS picks, maybe by Emporio Armani?

UPDATE: a few more pics to help compare/contrast. I think with all your help, I am formulating a keeper, but I'll keep that to myself for now and see what ideas you may have

I don't mind the diameter of the MK watch as much as the depth of it -- it seems like it protrudes too far from your dainty wrist.

And thank you, Laura, for planting the idea of a rectangular watch in the mind of someone who wasn't even THINKING about watches...

The fossil is plenty big:) attractive, statement and still quite feminine
The MK still look HUGE to me...too much so:)

Even though, as you say, Fossil makes the MK watches, you may want to compare their warranties when making your decision, in case they're different. I'm interested to see which one you pick.

I think either could work. I like the Fossil for its size but I like the layout of the MK a teeny bit more and I also like the cleaner look of all white as opposed to the metal around the watch. I guess I'm voting MK!

Also, remember that you don't want to wear this up tight on your wrist - it should sort of jangle around like a tighter bracelet (so not totally loose like a bangle). How do they feel when you wear it like that? Is one much heavier?

I'm going to vote for the MK watch. I like it for some of the same reasons as Shana: same solid color through out and I like the basic design better. That is, I feel the face shape flows into the band more smoothly and I like the face design better as well, eg the numbers, date and the 3 dials at the bottom. I just feel the overall design is more cohesive and has better flow. The Fossil watch seems to lack finesse, IMO.

I like both but Shana has some good thoughts. Also, do you wear gold colored metal? If so, the MK will blend better.

MK watch...I can't stand watches that don't have numbers...I can never tell what time it is!

Love the cohesiveness of design in the MK watch, as others have pointed out already.
