Sweater tunic layering opinions

I received the Bloomies sweater tunic (same as Tanya) and I am trying to figure out how to layer it. I really like the turtleneck look, however, it's not my best neckline. Do you think with the scoop on the sweater I can get away with it? I took photos of a few options and would like to hear your thoughts.

I wouldn't necessarily wear white, but the dark color didn't show on the photo

Here is my two cents. I like all the looks but the buttondown. The cowl and tneck are my favorites. I think the T would look great with a chunky choker or little scarf. Cute sweater!

My favorite is just the tunic by itself ... next is the cowlneck and the button down. I don't like the turtleneck too much - although Aqua makes turtleneck tunics, right, if you like that option. I'll be curious to see what the others say!

hi Marianne (sorry I got the wrong name here first!), I really like it best with the turtleneck or the cowl. I don't think the button down works and I think all by itself is a second best. For some reason I personally like the look of the layers. Maybe it would be better if you had a necklace or scarf as Susan suggests when it's by itself. Great selection - it fits you well.

I like the turtleneck but I think the ivory provides too much of a contrast. It really draws the eye up--it's the first thing I noticed when I saw your picture. Perhaps a chunky necklace would help transition the two? I think the button down looks nice too. My favorite is the cowl and by itself. It's a great sweater dress and looks fab on you! I, too, am curious to hear what the "trained eyes" will observe!

Marianne, I honestly like all the options. The tunic fits you very nice. I would certainly wear a scarf or necklace if it's on its own. I have worn mine twice so far, once on it's own with a chunky necklace and once over black turtleneck. And you look nice in turtlenecks.

oooh la la! Fab tunic. I like the tunic best on it’s own, but the turtle neck looks splendid too. The cowl is sweet and the shirt is okay. Does that help?

Love the sweater dress on you! I think by pairing it with different tops you get different looks so I don't think you need to wear just one look all the time.

I like it on its own and also with the cowl neck. Have you considered wearing a cami under it, or is the neckline too high for the cami to show at all?

Thank you ladies, I really appreciate your opinions! I would add a scarf if I wear it on its own. I am still trying to come to terms with chunky necklaces - I love them on many of you but I struggle with the right proportions for myself. I did try it with a cami but it barely shows. I am glad t-neck gets thumbs up overall.

I think it depends on the occasion.
I like the button down for work, but maybe a patterned or colored button down would be better, add a cocktail ring and some earings.

For casual I like the cown neck, and it by itself. Again, definitely add some accesories! Perhaps a brightly colored shoulder bag?
