Shoe evaluation: are these too boring?

I just purchased a pair of aerosoles after being seduced by the manageable heel height and off-the-charts comfort level. I'm not 100% sure this is the right lin, but I'm fairly certain:

What I want to know now is...are they too boring or do they look alright?
I bought these at a store two blocks from my place with a great return policy, so please don't hold back if these don't make the grade!

Lol! I have these and they do serve a purpose. They're rather plain but they are VERY comfortable and I only wear them with pants when I know I will be doing lots of walking or spending lots of time on my feet. These are one of the few pairs in my closet that my DD's never want to use for "dress up."

I think that they are great basic pant shoes, and comfort matters a lot.

I have a similiar pair, too. They definitely have their purpose, if you have to walk far, need to keep solid footing, etc. They aren't my favorite pair for their style, but they definitely do have a place in my wardrobe.

What were you looking for when you bought these, Michelle? I think everyone needs a pair of good, comfy, quasi-dress, shoes.
