This sequined top was in my closet before Christmas but i didn't have the guts to pair it with the tartan then.
Lisa, I wore the jacket today with a black tee but pattern mixed by adding a black and white polkadot scarf instead of funky necklaces. I will try that another day. The jacket is the perfect weight for warmth indoors on a cold day.
Nakidra, I think I'll wear the jacket and sequined top out for dinner this weekend. I'd also wear it to a play or First Fridays (gallery crawl).

I can't take credit for this idea. It came from Angie's blog and I'll try to add the link later. I liked the idea but couldn't see it with a plaid shirt on an over-60. The jacket seems more age-appropriate but wondered if it was still too mutton-dressed-as-lamb. Thank you, Angie, for the idea.
