I fell in love with the gold Marni oxfords Anna posted from Barney's, but somehow I just couldn't seem to find a spare $700 lying around. But I did have these grey and beige Crown Vintage oxfords that I haven't been able to bookend well. And I had $7, which I spent on leather spray paint (who knew such a thing existed) at a local store that sells leather goods for Native artists.
Half an hour, a little toxic inhalation of fumes, and a lot of masking tape later, here's the result. A couple of spots on the sole need to be touched up more - I'm sorry to say I got so carried away that I used my MAC eyeliner brush to put black shoe polish on a few parts, since a Sharpie didn't work.
