So it's only the sleeves lined in poly but the body lined in cotton? To me the poly sleeves would not be a deal breaker - if you're like me at all, it's my body that gets over heated not my arms. And like you mention, scrunching the sleeves leave some arm exposure for cooling down.

LOVE this jacket! I vote keep it, wear it, and eventually, if you tire of it, sell it.

And if that day should come... let us know the size and asking price

If I hadn't already spent what little clothing budget I had I'd be looking for one myself. OMG -- this is SO divine. I thought it was cute with the destroyed shorts then I got to the LBD and couldn't close my mouth. That is a keeper I agree with your ideas this would glam up or give edge to any of those combinations. KEEPER!!!!!

Here it is on the Outnet

That's where I first saw it. Now that I think about it I od'ed on rose gold. I'm not even reaching for my rose gold watch much anymore. Probably part of the reason I didn't pounce.

Intriguing! It looks lovely on you I vote keep!
(Plus that way, at least I won't feel silly for buying a gold lame blouse!)

If you don't find ways to wear it soon it is still current and totally sellable so I'd see where you go with it. All part of the style journey (bearing in mind I've had a few too many glasses of wine!)....

Please don't misunderstand - it looks perfect on you, and I get the strong feeling you want to keep it. And I don't know the whole history of you + leather or you + poly linings, so my opinion isn't worth much. *laughing at self*

BUT... I see a number of comments about those two things, and I have a vague recollection that you were trying to stop accumulating for a bit, and I always need help with my accountability when I'm trying to stop adding to my wardrobe - I can rationalise ANYTHING to myself, if I wanna. But that's not helpful for me or my goals. Feel free to tell me to hush - I won't take it personally at all. It's a hard balance, I suspect, for many of us: the urge to minimise against the "but it's PRETTY! And I WANTS it, Precious!"

Rae, thank you for those stylings; I am sorry I had to run out and didn't get back. I love the close up photo of you -- you are so beautiful and glamorous.

I think it is worth keeping and wearing at least to the event you've planned. See how it feels then. If you are loving it and reaching for it for work, too, then you have your answer. If not, as Denise says, you can always sell it. No real loss.

Rae, if you are pretty sure that the jacket fulfills your "practical lining needs", it has my blessing - screaming from the roof tops. Why not. It's a really fun piece.

I say keep it -- from your pics it is obvious you love it, and the colour looks good to me in those other shots.

Over rose-gold? I will never be over rose-gold. Or Macho Grande, for that matter.

Much wisdom here so I will not weigh in further.
