I love Angie's red Kate Spade pumps and I love the beautiful pink ones that modgrl just ordered. So when I was eyeing the blue Shelly pumps on my PC at home last night, DH popped his head in the den and said "oohhh...those are sexy" I happened to mention that they had just recently been discounted. He popped on his glasses, looked at the price and promptly said "why don't I buy you those as an early anniversary gift before your size runs out"?

I touched base with Rita and Inge (who has the cobalt blue ones) this morning with a few questions which they were most helpful with and voila - the pretty blue pumps are on their way to me.

Squeeeee!!!!!!!

P.S. I think hubby is developing a shoe fetish - he also bought me the animal print Docs Danielle's!

I think there might be something to this visualizing thing...I kept thinking about the shoes after Rita posted about the pink ones and then found out they had been reduced and thought about them some more. Then I was looking at them on the computer screen wantingly last night and now suddenly they are on their way to me...I'm going to start visualizing a Mazda RX8 next...

Heh heh heh, Rita IS a good (or bad) influence depending on how you look at it! You are so lucky to have a DH with a shoe fetish, Shannon! I think you'll get lots of use out of the blue. Cool that Inge has them too!

Thanks to her I have a turquoise pair (price matched at the Kate Spade store) and ordered a cobalt pair too--not sure which color will be better--will have to compare when it gets here. The KS store had turquoise and pink. If they're absolutely fab I may end up keeping both, haha.

I forgot that Angie had the Kate Spades in red but now that you mention it, I did love those on her! I would love to get a tomato red pair of shoes someday. Angie, were they also Shelly pumps?

By the way, the shoes seem to run true to size--I'm usually a 7.5 and the 7.5 seemed to fit best on me.

Umm, WHERE are these shoes for sale? WHAT is the original post you're reacting to? HOW can I see if I can afford them? WHY do I not already own them? WHEN can they be on my feet? WHICH color will I be choosing?

I bought a turquoise pair at the Kate Spade store--they weren't on sale but the manager agreed to price match Nordstrom (your mileage may vary though).

They are 2.5 inch heels. It is so hard to find mid heel pumps!
