I'm a fan of deep jewel tones, close-fitting ankle boots, and sleeker jewelry. No longer a fan of boho or droopy jersey knits. Not a fan of culottes (at least not since 7th grade) or pussy bows

Big fan of - midi skirts/dresses, drapey assymetrical tops, higher shaft booties, cold shoulder tops ( in the minority, I know), anything ballet pink
No longer a fan of - drastic hi-lo hemlines, high waisted pants (for me), ripped jeans, ankle zip pants.

PS. Very fun thread!

I'm a fan of jeans with zippers as ornamentation ... not a fan of midi skirts

I've always been a fan of pink, starting to be a fan of browns again

I'm a fan of culottes, velvet, plaid, and moderate doses of embroidery.

Hmm... does that mean I need to look for embroidered plaid velvet culottes?!

Not a fan of really high heels, how the color mustard looks on me, or real fur. Also probably not a fan of embroidered plaid velvet culottes!

I'm a big fan of wide-leg pants and bright red, but not a fan of sausage-style skinny jeans. Those are all long-held preferences. My more recent developments: big fan of substantial bangle bracelets and red shoes, not a fan of solid-colored dresses. The dresses have me stumped.

I'm a big fan of cropped flares, dresses with cropped flares underneath, denim dresses, high waisted jeans (including said cropped flares), moto jackets, Top Shop, and many, many things outside my budget.

I'm not a fan (for myself only) of bare shouldered tops with my sagging girls, athleisure, patched and ripped jeans unless they come honestly vs. purchased, and even then I fear that I am way too old to sport that look.

Some cold shoulder tops intrigue me, so responses here tell me I should wait and they will go on sale!

I am (currently!) a big fan of high shaft booties and sandal boots, midi skirts and dresses, Moto jackets and uber long tunics. And dark floral.
Not a big fan of oversized tops, pussy bows or sky high heels.

Right now, I'm a big fan of block heel, square toe shoes, but not a fan of cold shoulder or oversized tops.

Fun Thread!

I'm currently a big fan of fuzzy fur toppers, pearls (and other statement-ish necklaces) and cropped narrow pants. Not currently a fan of cropped flares (my eye is still adjusting), sausage-casing skinnies and uncomfy shoes.

I'm a fan of burgundy, navy, ankle-zip pants, flowy but not oversized tops, and Dansko boots and sandals.

I'm not a fan of wide-legged pants on me, body con anything, or high heels (except for my platform Danskos).

I'm a big fan of tailoring and woven fabrics. I'm not a fan of light weight jersey knits.

Oooo... Fun!

Fan of current temps... Not fan of temps to come!

But seriously, fan of faux fur jacket, with sleeves, in black, which is affordable. And flare jeans (can you wear them in winter and how?)

Not a fan of cropped/exposed anything..(OK may be face, because I can feel the chill faster than you can say it) and clothes that pill...

You can see my shortsightedness as to how all this is cold weather... Can't think beyond upcoming winter... Boo-hoo...

Right now I'm a big fan of vests, v necks, and dresses over crops, but not a fan of fussy prints, pussy bows, or skirts.

Big fan of purple and pink and not so much black and mid grey, big fan of sleeveless but not so much short sleeves, big fan of leggings under dresses, skinnies (still) and culottes, not so much vintage jeans that never fit me!

What a fun thread! Coming back to say big fan of soft velvet, not a big fan of things that collect pet hair. Reconcile, please!

I am big fan of all things navy. I am so over black. I am just plain tired of how boring it is. I say this as I slip on a pair of black slacks for work.

I'm a fan of all denim cuts bUT my eyes are still adjusting to cropped pants. I'm also a fan of slim fitting colored pants, sneakers and ankle boots. Ive become a fan of good quality knits and sweats this year.
I'm over knee and calf length boutside. Dresses are not exciting me this year.

Una, I have been thinking the same about velvet. Before our beloved 21-year-old cat moved on last spring, I used to have a lint brush that was made of a cut-velvet-like substance. Now every time I see certain velvets (the rougher ones, like cotton velvet, aka "velveteen"), I think "uh oh, lint brush.")

Anyway, I think the softer and silkier the velvet, the less likely it is to trap pet hair. I bought this silk velvet coat from the British catalogue Poetry this year and have been loving its coziness: https://www.poetryfashion.com/.....t-coat.htm It does not show a propensity to pick up lint.

We no longer have the pet hair issue, but you know how certain garments manage to make it look as if you have pets even when you don't? This isn't one of them.

Love what folks have written here!!

Right now I am loving quality knits, boots of any height from ankle to over the knee, leopard prints, red lipstick, skinny jeans and boyfriend jeans.

Right now I am not loving floral prints, crop flares, polyester and turtlenecks (or basically anything that can trigger a hot flash).

And I'm with Nishaa, love the falls temps but dreading winter!!

Oh that velvet coat! Does it run big? I love the model's entire outfit!

I'm enjoying tailored fits but not bodycon fits.
I'm enjoying feminine details but not tomboy looks.
I'm enjoying soft fabrics but not crisp woven fabrics.

I am a big fan of Waist Definition, High Waisted Jeans, Wide Legged Jeans, Flared Jeans, Ripped and Destroyed Jeans (I still love them), Faux Fur, Cashmere, Maximal Looks, The Return of the 70s (Yeah) and Earth Tones.

I am not a fan of (for myself) Pink, Cropped Pants, Pussy Bow Blouses, Oversized Looks and anything Pastel.

Right now I am a big fan of the cropped tops but not a fan of crop tops. I like the cropped top (sitting between belly button and hips) because it gives the illusion that I have longer legs when paired with a high waist skirt. I do not like crop tops. To me, they just look like a bra.

Una, I would say the velvet coat fits the way you would imagine from the picture: longer on us than on the model, but not oversized in the upper part. The stance is low and there's just a single button, so it's not a keep-me-warm-on-the-coldest-days piece. It's more glamor-on-a-chilly- day piece. I got the 2 and have found it fits over a fitted jacket or sweater, so perhaps it is cut on the generous side, but it isn't a droopy oversize fit.

Poetry has a few velvet pieces if this one doesn't seem like "the one."

I keep debating with myself over whether to have it hemmed. I probably should (on me I think it falls just below the knee) but I decided to enjoy it first as a slouchy piece before I commit to a more proper fit.

The velvet is so delightful; it's one of those pieces that I find my husband and son surreptitiously touching when I'm wearing it.

Right now, I am a fan of embroidery-on-black, floral prints and dandy menswear (ruffled shirts, masculine jackets), but not a fan of off-the-shoulder tops or cropped flares.

Im still a big fan of anything asymmetric and drapey:) but I am not a fan of the 'off the shoulder trend' that appears to be favoured by Aussie bloggers:( Was this popular over your spring/summer???

Fun! I'm a big fan of culottes and both cropped and full length wide leg pants, but not a fan of cropped flared hem pants. I've been a fan of culottes since forever and a day, and wide leg pants (especially full length ones) give off a cool 1940's Katherine Hepburn vibe. Cropped flared hem pants have to have just the right amount of width in the leg, because when they are too narrow through the leg they remind me of the too-short pants I often had to wear growing up (I was always too tall).

Right now I am a big fan of colourful FAUX FUR, but not at all a fan of REAL FUR. The more it looks like something made from a Sesame Street character, the better!
