Quality Check - Kate Spade Dress?

I have found that the more expensive dresses in my collection get a lot of use; mostly because I love them to pieces and they feel so FAB on - Forever21 has nothing on them (haha; I learned this the hard way!)

I have loved the aesthetics of Kate Spade for a very long time, and I don't think I'll be getting their rather iconic striped dress (my arch nemesis has it) nor the really cute bow tie one (really, Kate Spade, RAYON? RAYON?) - but this pink one tickled my fancy!!!

My only other "expensive" dress was my Eva Franco glasses dress and I knew the quality was wonderful before I bought it - so I am turning to the collective wisdom of YLF - how is Kate Spade's quality on dresses?? This one is silk.

I have only ever bought leather goods from Kate Spade. The quality there was excellent.

I do have a dresa by Kate Spade and it has been worth every penny. It fits beautifully. The quality is there. Go for it.

Arch Nemesis? You have us intrigued! I have only ever bought Kate Spade leather goods, so I can't speak to her dresses. Are you okay with dry cleaning?

I am a huge fan of Kate Spade dresses and have quite a collection. I have tried this dress on and found it to be beautifully made. The silk was a high quality - not too flimsy and not to stiff. The dress had pockets, the plaid is matched at the seams, and I think it's lined. Most of her dresses are exceptionally made using traditional dress making techniques. They are hemmed with exceptional care. Not all Kate Spade dress are of the same quality but I believe this one was beautiful. I found the fit generous.

Thanks ladies so much! :3 - I am looking forward to getting this dress (posted out to me today) - and it was the same price as a used Anthro dress, so I figured I can live out my dreamy Kate Spade fantasies in this!

Oh; I have an Arch Nemesis at work - I think it's real and not imagined; but we are vying for a similar position when we are done working through our training, so we sometimes go head to head. Not much super hero work for me.

Thanks for bringing up Dry Cleaning, Thistle - I happen to have a good place though; and we get a dry cleaning budget every year. I think it's for our White Coats but since I don't have one, I just bring in my silk.

@ K - it's black on the outside and hot pink on the inside. A girl's gotta have her secrets
