I have rare free time today so I'm doing all my posting at once.
This is what I’m considering wearing for the Chickadee’s baptism in 2 weeks. I got the dress at a consignment store. I wanted something light and summery, appropriate for a casual morning church service. Now I’m worried it’s too frou-frou, pale, cheap-loooking and juvenile for me, and that the bias-cut chiffon-esque fabric doesn’t provide enough structure or definition for my figure. It also feels like it's too lightweight and girly for my haircut and shape/weight. What do you all think? I was really wanting something like the white dress with black flowers that Angie found at Club Monaco, but didn't see it in store when I was there (I could check tomorrow though, depending on how expensive it is).
The wedge shoes are by Artisan by Clarks, and can be returned if the dress is a no-go (the dress is non-returnable but I can probably re-consign it at another consignment store, and if not, it was only $29).
