So, the other day I said I was returning the pink jacket from Zara. But I put it on this morning before I got set to pack it up. In walks Mr. Suz. And much to my surprise, he loves it!

(Honestly, that man is surprising me more and more every day. First he wants me to stay blond-ish and now he likes a pink jacket? Only the Shadow knows what goes on in the minds of men...)

I am taking "outdoor" pics today because it will be my only chance. I got some photos of the Lanai to show you later. But for now, here are some outdoor pics of the jacket, which also happen to show my current multi-coloured hair. Not to mention my wrinkles. Whatever.

I still have not decided absolutely on the jacket, but Mr. Suz's opinion obviously counts for something. He thought it was a fun piece, unexpected, yet potentially practical given its cross-season fabrication. He felt the same ambivalence about the colour that I did and some of you expressed. Interestingly, he didn't like it at all until he saw it on me. But when he saw it on me, he liked it a whole lot.

Feel free to weigh in again if you wish! And thanks for humouring me. I do think it shows a bit better in the light.

I think this jacket looks great.

Your hair looks awesome the way it is - is this how you want to keep it? Or would it end up more grey? What do you think?

Your jacket and sweater were made for each other! The pink is very becoming on you, both in the earlier indoor pictures and in these outdoor pics. Hmm...I bet those grey boots would play VERY nicely with this jacket.

Mr Suz likes it, and you like it, so isn't the decision made?
Thanks for the hair close-up- I don't think the grey is going to look like a huge change at all, and you could spend your colouring-budget on MORE jackets

This is a lesson on light the colour looks so different in these photos. Do
you feel great in it Suz? If you do keep because it fits well & suits you.

My opinion FWIW is that I have the same problem with this as I did with the suit - the combination of the cut & this colour are reading very classic to me not modern classic. I know you can "style" it to amp it up but again in my opinion this never works as well as buying something that already has the x-factor.

Interesting, Caro! It's actually a low one button stance, longer, quite modern in cut. Maybe I'm the limiting factor!?! I used to fear that, actually. Every bit of gold I touch turns to classic dross!!

Sarah, re the hair, I'd be going more grey than this...this is with the blonde streaks and a bit of grey beginning to show through.

Didn't catch the earlier post about the jacket, but I think it looks very pretty with your complexion and with the style keeping it from being 'too' pretty (if that makes sense.) Looks like it would go great with jeans and black, grey, or navy trousers. Try it with something wine/ raspberry just for a wildcard pairing.

I also think it will look wonderful if you do decide to go 'silver' hair; grey like the colour of your sweater of lighter, depending on the amount of grey vs white. Could turn out to be surprisingly fab!

I vote Keep, Suz! It's lovely with your colouring - and I think it will add a nice rosy touch in winter when you're wearing a lot of grays/blacks.

I have to confess to being one of the group who had reservations about the colour, but I think it looks uh-mazing in natural light. It just works beautifully with your skin and hair, which I did not feel with the indoor shots. Gotta go with Mr Suz on this one!

I like the color pink on you Suz! And thanks for showing a hair close-up. I think you can easily work some grey in there without things looking "off" -- I just mean, to go completely or majority grey seems premature to me.

You are so lucky to have thick hair like that. I read somewhere (probably on silly Yahoo) that hair thickness was the number one sign of attractiveness to a man. Now that's another question to ask Mr. Suz -- maybe he just loves you for your hair and hates to see anything change!

I liked this blazer when I first saw it and now I absolutely LOVE it!!! I find the style, the fit and the colour crazy flattering on you. And Mr. Suz likes it you say? Even better. I vote keep...for sure!

Thanks for the hair close up - I think you could transition to more grey very easily. You have multiple colours and shades and I think it would be seamless.

I think that jacket is a bit of a departure for you, but in a good way. It does us good to shake things up a little from time to time, and that is a very flattering color for you. And if you make Mr. Suz happy by listening to his opinion, well, all the better!
I'm eager to follow your hair experiment and see how you like it. I don't think it will be as huge a change as it would for someone with darker hair to start out with. You may just end up with "Nature's highlights".

I think it provides a change. I'm hopelessly classic so i may gravitate toward that, but instead of seeing it as too tame, I think this cut and fit are much more what I think looks good than the 2 jackets I tried recently- it has a slimmer slightly more elongated. fit. Also you said it was lightweight, which I thought gives you a seasonal benefit.

If having him love it makes you feel amazing in it, keep.

If having him love it will not make you wear it more often, don't.

Not to dismiss Mr. Suz, but he won't be having it hang in his closet.

I must say I like the colour better in natural light. I think I have almost the same number of hair colours as you, and practically the same cut! That is one thing I complained to my hairdresser about (too many colours) and she suggested doing another dye job in between my highlights (which I only do every 3 months).

I actually like having multi-colour hair, Nicole! I've always had it (even in childhood) and it's always felt like a positive to me. I have no idea why.

Thanks for all your opinions. I'm now leaning towards keeping the jacket. Chuckling about Denise's comment. If hair thickness is what men love, then I should have a retinue of slavish followers!

You look lovely in that shade of pink. It flatters your soft coloring and fair hair... and is a perfect mate for that polka dot sweater. The cut of the jacket is also very flattering. Your DH may be right about this one.

The color outdoors doesn't look the same to me at all! (I just checked to make sure--yup.) I love the cool light pink it shows up to be here. I also think your styling with the sweater and jeans is especially attractive. Definitely keepable if you like it.
