Outfits for convocation--feeback requested

I have my convocation ceremony for my Master's degree in a couple of weeks and I'm trying to decide what to wear. The ceremony is at 10 AM. I'll be wearing the ever-so-stylish regalia there, but afterwards my department is having a (casual) reception. After that it's straight to lunch with family, at a nice but not formal place.

I'm thinking of wearing a sleeveless MaxStudio wrap dress and so I took some photos wearing it with different shoes, hose, and cover-ups (it'll be chilly!). I'd love some advice and/or CRS numbers! Thoughts on the dress itself would be great too.

I like it matched with the darker sheer hose and black cardi best. Do you have a longer cardi you could belt? Dressy knee-high boots would seal the deal. Do you have those too?

Yeap, I vote for darker sheer hose and black cardi! It would look funky if you wore them with boots, so I like that you have gotten that suggestion!

But otherwise, I like them with the plain black pumps best.

Great, thank you all so much! I do have a black boyfriend cardi and a pair of dressy black boots. I never thought of trying them with the dress. I'll try them on some time in the next few days and take a photo for you all

Oh, and I wanted to note that I found that dress at one of my local consignment stores--for $8! I'm pretty lucky because I live in an area of Vancouver that has nearly a dozen excellent consignment and thrift stores within 10 minutes of me. Shopping thrift and consignment is totally a learned skill, but it's been worth the time and annoyance for me while living on a student budget.
