Do you think the Delias jacket could work on someone with wimpy little shoulders? I'm just wondering if it will be cut too straight to go over the bust if it fits in the shoulders. Perhaps you won't be able to answer this question.

I ordered the Delia's jacket, so I hope I have more luck with it than you did. Of course, I won't know for another week. It will have taken it nearly two weeks to get here if the UPS tracking information is correct. Grr.

I'm also intrigued by the Delia's jacket... however, I have tried this style on before and it's not my best look, not sure why. I think I look better with a lapel? But maybe I haven't found the right one. And that price is so sweet, it's tempting to give it a shot. I'm surprised even your daughter didn't like the fit, so it gives me pause. My teens both love this store and have great luck there, including my DD13 who's shoulders are very, very broad (swimmer's shoulders). I find their stuff is good for shorties! Was it a length issue?

i can take measurements of the Delia's jacket (I ordered an XL) if anyone is interested. I have not returned it yet, so I could even resell it to anyone who's interested. The XL did not zip over my chest. It's a junior size for sure, which is why I ordered the XL.

Maya, I don't know if the jacket would work better with narrower shoulders. It was a bit short in the sleeve, but that may be intentional. Would you like me to measure the shoulder?

I think for $20 it's definitely worth the chance to try it out.

You can tell the difference in the quality of the AX one and the Delia's one though. The Delia denim is kind of stiff and thick, but the AX denim is smooth and supple. The zipper is much smoother on the AX one too.

I'm not sure if measuring on an XL would be much help for me since I would be getting a small or medium. According to their size chart, I should be able to wear a 5/6 or small, but I'm not so sure about how it will zip. I don't need to zip it all the way up, but I like how you have the AX one zipped. A denim jacket isn't really a priority for me though. I don't have much of anything to actually wear it with.

Hee Hee Inge, No I have not worn it yet. Mostly because it's still too cold for this jacket. I am wearing HEAVY winter coats right now, I wouldn't be comfortable wearinga jacket under a coat. Also the sleeves need to be shortened.

Nicole - You inspired me. I bought the same AX moto jacket and... I absoluely love it!! Wow! It's always tough finding a jacket (even tops & dresses for that matter) that 1) I like 2) fits me right. This one fits me perfectly and i love the rockin' attitute it brings! I can't wait to find excuses to wear it! ;) ~ We have similar builds so your clothing posts are helpful!
