New red bag from NAS - YouLookFab Forum

I am considering keeping both the black and the blackberry trench. Do you think it is a style worth having in two colors Angie? These are my first trench coats, and as someone mentioned earlier it might be wise to have a basic black too. I just don't want to keep it if the blackberry will be good for all I need. I know it's not an easy question to answer, but maybe you have an opinion. Thankyou.

The last picture is a cute retro looking Classiques jacket I got at NAS too. I'm loving all of these delicious colors but it is way to hot to even model these things today.

I am not sure I will keep the skirt and jacket suit as I don't know how often I would wear it. I might just keep the skirt.

Oooh Kooba. I bought that same exact purse (I think) in yellow last season but ended up returning it. The leather is as soft as butter. It's gorgeous!

Debbie you might be able to get it through the Nordstrom sale. The red was gone last time I looked but there were other colors.

At the risk of being booed, I say keep both...you can always throw a colorful scarf around the neck of the black one.

San, I have 4 trenches Black, Red, Khaki, and White w/black buttons....all different lengths and weights... I vote to keep them both...they are timeless, and go with everything:)

San - awesome purchases. Good think I don't know your address or your red bag might disappear. I would also vote for keeping both - but then I have 4 trenches too like Taylor.

San, I love the red bag AND the white bag. Keep them both! I think you might want both trenches if you don't have any others. I have only a cream one and I definitely know there are times when I could use a second option. We have such a looong season to wear trenches it seems like a great investment.

Very classic trench - keep both if you love the style. Timeless and you will each for a few years.

Love the bag!! I saw that suit in store and really liked the fabric but I am a sucker for "tweedy" or dappled black and white fabrics.

That red bag is a super star! I vote keep both trenches. I have 3 trenches and the last one I got was black because I couldn't give up my old too-big one without replacing that color. There are times that black is the bit dressier coat for evening or a funeral that you need when a really dressy coat is too much.
I still want to find the perfect red trench, but am not actively looking this season if I get the leather jacket.

I actually agree with Angie, you will find another style trench that you love. There are many black ones out there so why not have another style for variety. I am sure you will also find a good price. Glad you are keeping the blackberry. Interesting color is much harder to find.

Of course you should defer to Angies wise and wonderful advice...You might be able to eek another fab shopping trip with her next year looking for the perfect 2nd trench:) What do I know. I am an emotional shopper with with a minor in shopaholic-ism:)

I am convinced to send back the black one and have something else to look for next year. Afterall I did get the grey wrap coat, and the motto jacket, not to mention all of the other sweaters and tops. I am feeling a little greedy for buying so much, so back it goes! Thanks everyone.

That red bag is AMAZING, and I love all the outfits you paired it with. They are so very "you"; Angie and you did a great job finding the NAS items that best work for your style and personality. I can't wait to see you in them this fall, especially those jackets and vests.

I agree, keep the blackberry and try next year for a more different style of black. And I say this as the queen of the Buy Two Identical Items in Different Colors compulsion.

Yup Kristen, I hear you. I ordered the J Crew ruffle tank Angie blogged about yesterday and just had to order it in two colors, which are the dark blue, and the slate grey.

Oh my goodness, San - that Calvin Klein "pant coat" is the same one I got from NAS that I thought was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. Do you feel the same about it?

The grey one? YES I think it is beautiful.

Yes - the color on the site was listed as "tin". It is so soft and the wide collar looks so glamorous, I love it! When I get home I will post a photo to see if YLF thinks the sleeves need shortening. I kind of like them a little long, both for warmth and since we rarely stand still with our arms at our sides.
