New rain gear: wellies and hat

I LOVE those wellies! I love that they are yellow. Yellow is perfect for rainy days. And the hat is super cute! It's funny seeing a rain hat and sunglasses at the same time though

He he, the sunglasses are there for privacy only, I would certainly not wear them with a rain hat, or when it is raining for that matter.

Glad you like the wellies. Next on my rain wish list is a Marimekko umbrella, but that will have to wait for a while, I have really overspent recently.

I had a really cute Marimekko umbrella and I left it behind on the train one day I even ran back to get it and it was already gone!

I have been too traumatized since then to invest in a special umbrella. I should have known I would lose it eventually since I always seem to lose my umbrellas. I walked past a store in Cambridge that had a lot of Marimekko stuff. Do you know of it? It had some super cute wellies in the shop window. Maybe it was a Marimekko store.

Well I googled "Marimekko Cabridge" and got this as a result!

I think the place I saw was on or just off of Massachusetts Ave though, very close to Harvard Square. Near a stationery shop of sorts. Sorry I can't be more specific, but Marimekko Cambridge should do the trick without resorting to my very vague memory.

Oh I probably wasn't clear: Marimekko Cambridge isn't near Harvard Square. It's not the same place that I saw. The store I saw wasn't a Marimekko concept store but had Marimekko products for sale. That's the place near Harvard Square. It's somewhere near Crema Cafe, Second Time Around, and that big stationery shop whose name I don't remember. Maybe Shiny would know.
