I have done another round of closet purge for the past couple of weeks and ended up donating three large trash bags, two of clothes and one of shoes. I have also used to opportunity to analyze my wardrobe needs and holes and learned the following:

1) My shoes situation is bad: a lot of the favorites that get worn constantly to work are in absolutely horrible shape and need replacing. I tossed some of the saddest ones. I also lack more nude/tan/light colored shoe options for summer for work.
2) Need some woven sleeveless tops and knit/casual blazers for my newly discovered summer work formula
3) Going out clothing (e.g. lounge): half of the time I would wear a skirt/dress, but the other half was always the same pair of skinnies - black coated ones. I was/am wearing those pants 4-6 times a month, which is really unheard of for me. So another pair of going out skinnies (something with a bit of an edge) was in order.
4) Cocktail wear capsule - I need to do a lot of work on this.

So far I have ordered and received the following:
1) Born metallic loafers - substitute for bronze almond toed flats that I had to toss.
2) Two sleeveless woven tops: turquoise silk one from Banana Republic and white rayon one from old Navy
3) Hudson python print skinnies - since those would be worn a lot I decided to invest in premium pair. I have attached a stock photo for clearer view of the pattern. Styling suggestions are more than welcome!
