I found NAS to be great last year but approached it differently than in the past. I purchased only two items: something I knew I liked (my Natori Feathers bra, which is again on sale), and a wild card I was really drawn to (the Haute Hippie dress, which I wore multiple times last year).
(I also bought a pair of booties from Nordstrom last year but cannot recall if they were part of NAS.)
This year, I am likely to take the same approach -- I will probably buy one more Natori bra, and I may make one wild card or big-ticket purchase, at a really good discount. I see two possibilities already. That Veronica Beard jacket is AMAZING. Also, that Trina Turk officer coat may be the military coat I have always wanted. (If I go that route, I will have to consign one or two of my coats, as I really will not need all I have.)
As for thinking about fall in June? I LOVE fall dressing, and looking at the NAS catalog is making me rethink some possible summer purchases, and I'm really thankful for that. I'm putting together a capsule for an August trip to Mexico and I'm trying to keep spending to a minimum. Being tempted by fall is helping.
My big dilemma right now is: do I get the Nordstrom card?
