My first pictures - keep or return?

This is the first time I've tried to post photos and I'd appreciate any feedback (including about how to improve the photos - I've only just signed up to flickr):

I don't know what order these will come in, but there are basically:

1. Me in pre-YLF jeans - I'm 5'6'', clear spring colouring, with smallish bust and broad-ish shoulders. I think I'm a short-waisted pear. Am I? What is my secondary shape?

2. Various shots of me in new jeans. Keep or return? I was thinking about buying premium denim but wanted to try these first. I don't want any more 'make do' clothing, though!

3. The H&M coral trench Angie blogged about. Keep or return? I have a tan leather jacket about this length and want to buy a trench. I was thinking of looking for ivory or navy as a more versatile neutral - is it a mistake to get this?

I have a lot of things to buy to try to get my wardrobe a bit more as I would like it (since reading this wonderful blog). I would love any feedback from you ever so stylish ladies!

For some reason the only picture I can see is the coral trench - but I really like it on you.

I also think you are a pear, as to the secondary body type, I'm not sure.. hourglass? let's see what Angie has to say.. those jeans are very flattering keep it!

I would agree with Rute that you look pearish, but we'll let Angie have the final say on that

I love that coral trench on you- beautiful color and beautiful styler for you.

I think the jeans look really nice too. Do they feel taht they will hold their shape? I usually wear jeans in my house for a full day before removing the tags. If they are a saggy mess by the end of the day, back they go.

Congratulations on your first picture post, it can be quite intimidating at first but it such a good instrument for feedback.

I agree with your assessment, you look like a very pretty pair from your photos.

The coral trench looks wondrous against your skin tone and would seem to work with most neutral coloured bottoms. I would be inclined to keep.

The jeans look a very good fit and are flattering but I'm unable to decide from your photos if the jeans are quite long enough. If they almost skim the ground then I would again say keep.

queenie - great idea to wear the jeans for a day. I'll try that. RoseandJoan - yes they are long enough. They're over-long so should be ok with shrinking after washing but I'm going to double check before I commit. I have a lot of trousers that are too short so don't want to add to them...

cindy594 - I'm going to try the trench again with more layers and also try the next size down to check on the sleeve length.
