Posting on Michelle's behalf:
After much hair-tearing and even more hassling of you lovely ladies, I *finally* purchased a pair of boots. I'm not 100% delighted with my choice, because I feel like the ankles are too baggy. There was another pair that fit better at the ankle but had a very noticeable gap on just one part of my calf (I could put my whole hand in. Truly bizarre). In the end I figured ankle-bagging was less unsightly than calf-gapping. Other deciding factors were the perfect calf fit, the heel (more conducive to ppl with my currend wardrobe options), the waterproof leather and the price tag, which was $50 cheaper.
So here they are, styled three ways. Please pardon the lack of appropriate accessories and my most uncooperative stomach (it feels like a many-headed sea creature today).
1. With a pencil skirt that I would consider appropriate for business casual. Do the boots dress it down too much, and do the ankles detract from the look?

2. With my much-loved cobalt dress and textured hose (Angie, were you ever right about these, I'm in love with them)!

3. With skinnies tucked in. I was rather surprised that this even worked. Can I pull off this look, which is entirely novel to me? Out of curiosity, what would happen if I were to wear them untucked?

Blunt feedback would be appreciated, guys. I can exchange these boots for the other pair if you don't like them (no refunds allowed at this maddening store).
Thanks again for all your help throughout this saga!
