Michael Kors cognac leather jacket- Keep or return??

Well here I am again- back at the search for the perfect cognac moto jacket.
I returned the Frye harness boots and am possibly replacing my 50th birthday present with this real leather jacket- has to be a 10!!!
Is it perfect? It is not as cropped as others that I have - the leather is gorgeous.
It was at the Rack for 170.00 ( supposedly reduced from 395.00) although I never know if that is actually true.
I have included 2 shots- zipped and unzipped- please be honest- this is a big purchase for me!
I am thinking that it would be more of a jacket for outerwear- the leather is substantial and it is a bit longer. Does that make sense?

I think I tried this exact jacket in cream. It looks SO much better on you. It's awesome. It is a very heavy jacket but it doesn't look like it on you. Ana, they have these at our Rack too or at least they did last week.

Awsome! The color looks perfect and the fit too. I'm so happy you finally found your cognac jacket. Do you love it? With my moto jacket it took a time of wearing it out of the house to grow to love it. I guess I was scared of it for awhile. Now I've even ordered a moto vest. I think these leather items are so versatile and last forever. This will be beautiful with your collection of scarves too.

Gorgeous! I love it so much, Jean. I think the fact that it isn't *that* cropped will actually give it more longevity, and as a big-ticket item you'll want to get years of wear out of this. I sometime think the super-cropped ones will date after a few seasons.
