I love the sequin waist dress! It flatters your figure to perfection and the sequins say "evening wedding" to me. Some of the simpler dresses look like something you might wear to work. Well not the backless ones!

This dress (#13) looks just different enough to read "special" while still being 100% you. Love the Grecian vibe.

Am I the only vote for the Papell dress? LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress - I have many friends who have a variation on it, and my sister wore a long fishtal version to the Emmys. I just helped a friend pick one out and the quality and fit were both stellar and flattering.

I have a poison eye for empire waist dresses, so although 13 is lovely I MUCH prefer the AP dress.

I like 13 best. Followed by 18.

I want to be unbiased so I'm responding before looking at the other comments.

#13-15 is my favorite of the lot for this occasion. It's dressy, it's extremely figure flattering, and I like the fit best.

18-19 is my next choice - also very flattering and glam.

I really like the dresses in #16 and #9-10 on (hello, Suzi Chin dress!) you but I feel like the other two dresses are more different from what you already have, and they really up the dressy factor. But both of these dresses would work well in your work wear capsule, I think.

I like 13 and 18 the best for an evening wedding.

Love 13-15!! That one gets my vote!

I also toss my vote in for #13, although I think you can probably do better. The first dress is cute and worth keeping, but probably too casual for a wedding (any wedding, IMO). The last dress would be my second choice, although I think that may be too formal for the type of wedding you describe.

My first choice is #18, followed by #13.

What are your favourites so far Natalie?

Well I tried on the second round of six more dresses and they were horrible so I won't even bother posting the pictures. I showed this first set of pics to DH and he had really funny comments to say about all of them. DH thinks he would be a great Project Runway critic. Like when he saw the Anthro dress he started saying "Waka waka waka" and said I looked like a blue Pacman ghost with the short shapeless blue dress with ruffled hem and fuzzy white dots. I laughed and had to agree...I guess this dress is a no-go!

He thought most of them looked too matronly esp #8 and #26. He said he didn't love any of them, but his favorite was #16 followed by #18. I actually like #13 the best (he is biased against empire waist styles) so I'm keeping those three for now and returning the rest. Some poor Nordstrom SA is going to have to return about 10 blue dresses. I'm sure they'll be thrilled.

I'll show the top 3 to my sister and see what she thinks and figure out what everyone else is wearing. Thanks for your help in narrowing it down. I am so sick of cobalt dresses now that I want this to be over!

Waka waka waka....

That's hilarious about Ms. Pac Man.

My vote is for the JS Boutique / #13 too. It's a great blue for you, and it's a fancy dress (I thought the others a bit plain for a wedding, truth be told).
