I love your new coat! I'm so glad you got a chance to go and try stuff on and buy something that you *knew* was going to be good. Sounds like this particular coat is really good quality, and despite being more expensive - will be well worth the expense. Much better to get it right, than to suffer through umpteen iterations of 'not quite right'. You look fabulous in your new blue puffer, and the best part is that it's very well-made, with lots of little extra quality features. WOW - you did well!
The words "persistent pickiness" come to mind, and I admire you for looking, looking and looking - while also holding back when things weren't quite right or you didn't know for sure. It really paid off. I'm going to remember this - because I have a tendency to just buy something ...because I need it, rather than really looking around.
