My favorite dress is a navy corduroy shirtdress with short kimono sleeves. Given the heavy fabric used, the sleeves stick out and poke quite a bit, which is fine on its own, but is a big problem when I need to wear a jacket over it.

The dress has exactly the same sleeves as this one, but with a straight skirt and mandarin collar.

I wear it with a skinny belt, either red snakeskin or tan. Lately, I've worn a white hoodie over it, but I'd like something either edgy or retro to complete the look.

Any ideas as to what I can wear over it, spring-fall? I live in san francisco.
